Even characters who barely have any lines of dialogue throughout the show still manage to be quite memorable in their own right. Kenny is a great example of this, with his stoic attitude and penchant for getting killed making him an unforgettable part of the show. The character is still beloved by the fanbase even after his extended hiatus in the middle of the series, speaking volumes when it comes to how much people love this character. Keeping this in mind, here are some episodes focused on Kenny that are the best of the bunch.

Updated on February 23, 2023 by Ritwik Mitra: Kenny is one of South Park's best characters, proven by the fact that his continuous series of deaths has never stopped being funny.

The character has received a surprising bit of character development across the series, to the point where many fans consider him to be their favorite character even with his entire speech being muffled to kingdom come! Here are some of the best episodes in South Park where Kenny's story is particularly riveting!

14 Rainforest Shmainforest

Kenny in Rainforest Shmainforest

Rainforest Shmainforest is a great episode that parodies the superficial actions of support groups to protect wildlife. The biting satire is accompanied by a great side story where Kenny tries to get some action despite his love interest, Kelly, wanting something deeper and more meaningful.

Kenny's lecherous intentions are almost stopped dead in their tracks by a bolt of lightning, prompting Stan and Kyle to utter their classic lines. However, in a hilarious subversion of this trope, Kelly calls them out for being useless and resuscitates Kenny!

13 Tweek Vs. Craig

Kenny in Tweek Vs. Craig

Kenny gets to shine once again in an episode where the main focus is a battle between Tweek and Craig. This fight is incited by the gang to settle a bet, making for a hilarious chain of events as both characters train for their confrontation.

Meanwhile, Kenny decides to go to home economics instead of shop class since he fears all the tools, but is pressured by the teacher himself to switch instead. So, in classic Kenny fashion, he gets caught in the crossfire of this fight and ends up dying another violent, meaningless death.

12 Fat Camp

Kenny in Fat Camp

Fat Camp deals with the ordeals Cartman has to go through after being sent to Fat Camp against his will. However, despite this focus on the show's brash-mouthed character, Kenny also gets his moment to shine through a series of totally gross and horrid actions that are extremely funny in their own right.

After performing a series of crazy dares, Kenny gains so much fame that he becomes a part of a TV show dedicated to his antics and is also featured on The Howard Stern Show as well. Kenny's antics are pretty much a parody of Jackass and are pretty on point as well.

11 Cartman Joins NAMBLA

Kenny in Cartman Joins NAMBLA

Funnily enough, there's another episode where Cartman may be at the head of the proceedings, but Kenny isn't far behind. This episode is Cartman joins NAMBLA, which is one of the series' highlights. While Cartman unwittingly becomes the poster child for this disturbing organization, Kenny finds out his parents are trying to have a baby and tries everything in his power to prevent this from happening.

To add to the hilarity, Kenny's mother gives birth to another version of Kenny, stating that this has happened multiple times over the course of the show!

10 Going Native

Going Native, a South Park episode

Going Native could've ranked higher on this list, but the episode focuses just as much on Butters as Kenny, if not more. However, the episode is still hilarious, and watching both children enjoy their adventures in Hawaii is pretty entertaining.

However, people seeking out episodes that specifically focus on Kenny will find various other options to check out. However, not many of them will be as funny and entertaining as Going Native.

9 The City Part Of Town

The City Part Of Town, a South Park episode

The City Part of Town is a great episode that develops Kenny's character quite a bit. His need to earn money leads to him working at the legendary City Wok after gentrification leads to its customers hightailing it to bigger and better prospects.

The episode has a rather heartwarming moment where Kenny uses his wages to buy a doll for his sister. It proves that Kenny cares for his family, regardless of what might be stated otherwise.

8 C*ck Magic

The hilariously-titled C*ck Magic pokes fun at the allure of Magic the Gathering. The fact that Randy also plays a major role in this episode with his sidesplitting antics makes it even better.

7 The Scoots

The Scoots, a South Park episode

The idea of electric scooters being haunted is a premise for a Halloween episode that only a show like South Park can pull off. In their plans to trick-and-treat, the children decide to use e-scooters to maximize candy intake, although this leaves Kenny in the dust since he doesn't have a phone required to book these scooters.

However, he teams up with Mr. Mackey to tackle the threat these e-scooters pose. It's an entertaining episode that lets both these characters shine bright in the series.

6 Best Friends Forever

Best Friends Forever, a South Park episode

Kenny's expert skill on the game Heaven vs. Hell ultimately leads to his demise, although the angels of Heaven were expecting Kenny to come. After all, he was going to help the realm in their fight against Hell... but he ends up being resuscitated back to a vegetative state before this can come to pass.

The entire episode is a rollercoaster of emotions, with everything from Kenny's will to the media fiasco surrounding his situation being hilarious and eye-opening. Thankfully, at the end, Kenny is able to go back to Heaven and save the realm from Hell's attack.

5 Kenny Dies

South Park Killed Off Retired Characters Kenny

Kenny's death is a running gag that South Park has embraced over time. However, there's one particular episode that takes Kenny's death in a serious light.

In Kenny Dies, the hooded child ends up contracting a terminal disease that leads to his friends trying to legalize stem cell research. However, it turns out that Cartman was using his friend's death for his own selfish gains, prompting a very satisfying beatdown from Kyle.

4 The Poor Kid

The Poor Kid, a South Park episode

As the poorest kid in South Park Elementary, Cartman loves making fun of him. However, after Kenny is relocated to a different school, it turns out that Cartman is the poorest kid in school now. This leads to Cartman concocting an insane plan that leads to him entering Kenny's school.

Of course, Kenny is still the highlight of this episode as he tries to protect his little sister as Mysterion. It's a great episode that shows just how deep and compassionate Kenny's character really is.

3 The Coon Trilogy

Coon & Friends is a spoof of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that had taken hold around the same time. This trilogy expands on Kenny's backstory and the real reason why no child remembers this demise.

2 Major Boobage

Major Boobage, a South Park episode

The hilariously titled Major Boobage is one of the funniest South Park episodes. It revolves around the addictive nature of cat urine and how Kenny gets hooked on this hallucinogen.

While the story of the boys trying to fight against this hallucinogen is great, Kenny steals the show with his intense scenes that are a joy to watch. The episode ends on a hilarious note as well after subverting expectations in the best way possible.

1 The Ring

The Ring, a South Park episode

An episode focusing on greedy multi-billion dollar corporations and how they exploit their audience, The Ring is one of the best South Park episodes. It helps that the story focuses on Kenny's romance and the expectations he has from the same.

Watching Kenny struggle to get physical with his girlfriend is pretty hilarious. The episode ends with Kenny's death, which is easily one of the most memorable and hilarious ways Kenny dies in the show.
