Scott Pilgrim Takes Off follows the eponymous character, a Toronto-based 20-something part-time musician and slacker who falls in love with a delivery girl and must take down her "seven evil exes" if he is to have any chance of being with her. Initially announced in January 2022, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is produced by Japanese animation studio Science SARU (Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!), with original series creator Brian Lee O'Malley serving as a showrunner, executive producer and writer for the series alongside BenDavid Grabinsky.
