The cast of the English dub of Overlord IV has been revealed, with the various members of the cast returning to voice their roles from the previous season in similar fashion to the series' original Japanese cast. The fourth season of Overlord premiered in Japan on July 5, with the English dub following it on July 19th.

Crunchyroll has been streaming each episode of Overlord IV at the same time as their Japan release. The series is currently on its third episode, with each subsequent episode scheduled for release on Tuesdays at 10pm, Japan Standard Time (JST). English dubbed episodes of Overlord IV will be released on Crunchyroll on Wednesdays.

The cast of the English dub is led by director Cris George and assistant Dallas Reed. In addition to Chris Guerrero (Albert James Moriarty from Moriarty the Patriot) returning to voice protagonist Ains Ooal Gown, other members of the English dub cast of Overlord IV include:

  • Elizabeth Maxwell (Ymir from Attack on Titan) returns to her role as Albedo
  • Eric Vale (Tomura Shigaraki from My Hero Academia and Yuki Soma from Fruits Basket (2019)) plays Pandora's Actor
  • Jill Harris (Nino from The Quintessential Quintuplets) returns to voice Aura Bella Fiora
  • Megan Shipman (Adachi from Adachi and Shimamura) as Mare Bella Fiora
  • Heather Walker (Kei Shirogane, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) returns to her role as Hamusuke.

Other staff members involved in the production of the English dub of Overlord IV include the Automatic Dialog Recording (ADR) engineer Victor Acosta, assisted by Jameson Outlaw; mixer Matthew Tipps, and the responsibility for the script being taken up by Clint Bickham. Overlord IV adapts the plot from the 10th volume of the original light novel written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrations done by artist so-bin. The Overlord franchise is also set to have a movie release that adapts the events of the Holy Kingdom Arc of the light novels.

Overlord is set in the year 2138, a year of great success for the video game industry as MMORPGs reach incredible heights. When Momonga, a legendary player of a popular online game called Yggdrassil stays online as the game's servers are set to shut down forever, he falls asleep expecting it to kick him out once the servers shut down; however, he finds himself trapped in the world of Yggdrassil as it begins to take on a life of its own and NPCs begin to develop emotions.

The Overlord anime series began in July 2015, with the first season running for 13 episodes. The second season began airing in January 2018, with the third following it in July 2018. Overlord IV comes highly anticipated by fans of the series and isekai anime as a whole. Overlord IV can be streamed on Crunchyroll's platform in English or Japanese.
