WWE games have been around for as long as anyone can remember. However, unique match stipulations such as Buried Alive and Hell in a Cell weren't introduced in the games until much later. One such match-type is Elimination Chamber, which first debuted in 2002 and featured superstars such as Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Kane, and Rob Van Dam.
The unique game mode first arrived in 2003 as a part of cult classic WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain and has since been featured yearly in the WWE video games. However, which games out there have the best playing Elimination Chamber match yet?
10 WWE 2K22
WWE 2K22 is the latest entry in the World Wrestling Entertainment video game franchise and was released on 8 March 2022. Hence, there's no doubt that it features the 'most' complete Elimination Chamber experience to date. The game's tagline is "IT HITS DIFFERENT," which is certainly true as it's the first time in years when a WWE game took two years to make.
Before WWE 2K22, every game in the series was a yearly release. However, due to the messy launch and bugs in WWE 2K20, publisher 2K Games decided to ditch the 2K21 and released a much more polished game in 2022.
9 WWE 2K14
WWE 2K14 is the last game-changing WWE title and the first one in the 2K franchise. The game came out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and carried a lot of great stuff from old games. WWE 2K14 was essentially an overhaul of features from every game that came before it, which is a big reason it stands at a great user score on Metacritic.
The game offered mechanical changes and additional modes, which played flawlessly on the consoles. With multiple "OMG" moments and a new and expanded "Create-a-Superstar" mode, 2K14 is a great game to experience special matches like Elimination Chamber in all their glory.

Next up, there's WWE 2K17, which improved a lot on previous games like WWE 2K16 and WWE 2K15. Not only did the game feature Brock Lesnar on the cover, it truly embodied the spirit of The Beast Incarnate. While the game didn't offer a proper single-player story mode at launch, it features a Creation Suite template that remains part of the game.

7 WWE 2K19
WWE 2K19 does what WWE 2K17 failed to do, perfecting the 2K gameplay formula in every way. While previously the games have struggled in one way or the other, 2K19 was when the series peaked in the best way possible. With none other than AJ Styles on the cover, WWE 2K19 shows a phenomenal variety in match types, roster, and creation suite and brings in various new game modes.
With much improved MyCareer mode and just a plethora of new content, WWE 2K19 is one of the best places to enjoy special match styles such as Elimination Chamber.
6 WWE SmackDown! Vs. Raw
In 2004, WWE made a giant leap in its gameplay formula and went from the arcade-style gameplay of popular SmackDown! Games to a simulation-based game design. The first entry in this new experiment was WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw, released in November 2004, exclusively on PlayStation 2.
As a result of being the first of its kind and a completely new gameplay experience, fans critically praised SmackDown! vs. Raw for what it tried to do. Anyone who played the game in 2004 appreciated the attention to detail in every mode, and one such mode is Elimination Chamber.
5 WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2010
WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2010 stands out due to the inclusion of pre-match and in-match mini-games. These include traditional pro-wrestling cliches such as staring down the opponent, shoving them, or having a battle of strength. Other features like withholding a submission move despite rope break and a Clean/Dirty system were a big part of the game.
Hence, WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2010 was the most polished way to experience main event modes like Hell In A Cell, Cage match, and Elimination Chamber. The game also features warm lighting that makes game modes look like you're controlling real action figures.
4 WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007
The third game in the SmackDown! vs. Raw series was the high point of pro-wrestling games on PlayStation 2. WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007 features a brand new control scheme that uses analog sticks for the in-game moves and an interactive hotspots system. This game is the most realistic WWE title on PlayStation 2, which makes each game mode pretty fun to play.
The Elimination Chamber match-type in the game features amazing pre-match animations that give the entire thing a much more life-like vibe. If that isn't enough, there's a lot of interactivity within the match, making it worth playing.
3 WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006
Like in WWE SvR '07, WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 brings the entertainment factor in each match-types due to its semi-realistic gameplay. A standout thing about WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 is its momentum bar the old meters in the game. It also offers the stamina bar, which remains part of the WWE game franchise to date.
With an improved grappling system and many PPVs, this game truly lets players experience the Elimination Chamber match as they desire. The game also features old and new stars, so dream matches are always around the corner.

WWE '13 is a favorite to many wrestling fans, and it's not just due to the most badass wrestling game cover of all time. Instead, it's because of the mind-blowingly huge roster full of Attitude Era wrestlers and their different gimmicks.
The game also features an amazing creation suite that allows players to use a huge list of unused animations and use custom songs as their entrance music. WWE '13 is the best way to recreate all the amazing Elimination Chamber matches since 2002 in their purest form possible.
1 WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain
This game takes the top spot, and it's all due to the gameplay mechanics of the good-old Smackdown titles. Unlike the pseudo-realistic gameplay of modern WWE games, WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain offers flawless arcade-style wrestling gameplay. It's a simple game where the players must push L2 to reverse strikes, R2 to reverse grapple, and both simultaneously to reverse the finishers.
This game removes the tedious, monotonous gameplay loop of slowing building the finishers and lets the players wreak havoc in different game modes. Elimination Chamber in WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain is unlike anything anyone can play in other wrestling games. It's just pure fun.
