After three trailers have been released leading up to the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, some fans are concerned about one specific character who is seemingly missing. With Tears of the Kingdom only a month away from release, these concerned fans are hoping it's just a coincidence.Although Zelda has been a household name for many gamers throughout the years, Breath of the Wild brought new life back to the franchise, becoming many fans' favorite installment in the series. Having such great success, it was no surprise when Nintendo announced the follow-up installment, Tears of the Kingdom. There's no doubt that there is a lot of expectation to live up to for those who loved Breath of the Wild, and if the trailers are any indication, Tears of the Kingdom is set to be a worthy sequel. Many fans of the series are looking forward to seeing beloved characters from the previous installment, but the absence of one specific character has some nervous.RELATED: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Switch Download Card Offers A Look At Two New CharactersThe three trailers for the game have many fans questioning why the Goron character Yunobo can't be seen. Since Yunobo was a significant character in Breath of the Wild, some fans are finding it suspicious that the Tears of the Kingdom promotional trailers are missing the character. The absence of Yunobo has some speculating that Nintendo is intentionally keeping him out of sight because of the game's plot.

On Twitter, there are fans who are citing Nintendo's tweets as proof of something happening to Yunobo, due to Nintendo tweeting official artwork of Link's friends that is also missing the Goron. There are some theories suggesting that since Ganondorf is confirmed as the Tears of the Kingdom's villain, his first move after being revived will be to target Death Mountain and the Gorons. However, other fans have suggested that Yunobo is in the game but just off-screen in the scenes shown in the trailers.

Although there probably won't be any type of confirmation until the game is released in May, it does seem suspicious that Nintendo hasn't shared any promotional material that includes Yunobo. It could just be a coincidence, but Nintendo is known for being purposeful in everything it releases, so it's not dramatic for fans to be worried. If anything, this just makes the wait for Tears of the Kingdom feel even longer, and many fans will be both excited and nervous to finally find out the fate of the Goron.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases May 12, 2023, for Nintendo Switch.
