Sticky Lizards are critters, so players can use them to improve certain pieces of armor and to make useful elixirs. Its sticky nature is what sets the Sticky Lizard apart from other lizards in the game. These creatures have no problem sticking to the walls of even the wettest caves in Hyrule. Link can put these creatures in a cooking pot mixed with a couple of monster parts and craft a Sticky Elixir, which will make it easier for him to stick to wet surfaces without slipping.

Once players complete the Potential Princess Sighting sidequest, they'll receive the entire Froggy armor set. This armor set requires Link to bring quite a few Sticky Lizards to the Great Fairies in order to get it to its maximum potential; to upgrade all three pieces of armor, gamers will need a total of 24 Sticky Lizards.

Sticky Lizards are pretty common creatures in most caves in Hyrule. They tend to enjoy locations with a wet atmosphere, so these are their preferred places to inhabit.

Given that players can find Sticky Lizards in all sorts of caves, the best way to find them is to visit locations with a lot of caves ready to be explored. The Lanayru area is without a doubt the region with the most caves in Tears of the Kingdom, namely the area just southwest of the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.

The best way to farm Sticky Lizard is to fuse an arrow with an elemental Chuchu Jelly and aim toward an area on the wall with a couple of lizards. Elemental Chuchu Jelly bursts on impact and hits a wider perimeter; this will stun the lizards and they will fall to the ground immobile.

Alternatively, players can wear stealthy clothing or drink a stealthy potion, but this will take longer since they'll still have to approach the lizards slowly and quietly so they don't run away.

Players can also purchase Sticky Lizards from Beedle at South Akkala Stable . He has two in stock, and they cost 32 Rupees each.
