Hyrule has gotten even bigger in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. With all the sky islands floating above Hyrule, players will have lots to find and explore in the sequel to Breath of the Wild. But of course, on their journey to find Zelda players will encounter all sorts of dangers. With that in mind, it is important to keep a well stocked arsenal of weaponry.
While all the new abilities can be helpful, especially Fusion, sometimes the more classic weaponry from the Legend of Zelda series is more than enough to get the job done. As is a common staple, bows and arrows are in Tears of the Kingdom. Players will go through arrows quickly, but here is how to get more.
How to Get More Arrows
The first thing to know about getting more arrows is that arrows will not appear until players first find a bow. Luckily, it doesn't take long to find one. While exploring the tutorial area, players will encounter hostile constructs armed with bows. Defeat them and pick up the bow. At this time, players will be able to see arrows and pick them up.
More often than not, any enemy that uses a bow will drop arrows when they are defeated. In the event they don't, however, there are still plenty of ways to get more arrows. Players should keep a close eye on the ground as they explore. While this is a good way to find ingredients for cooking, players can also occasionally find stray arrows on the ground.
Another efficient way to get more arrows is to make sure to pick up any arrows that missed their intended target. For example, if a player aims for an enemy and hits a tree instead, they can approach the tree and pull out the arrow. Players can also pick up arrows shot by enemies as well. Keep in mind that this only works for regular arrows. Arrows that have been fused with another item, like a Bomb Flower, cannot be retrieved.
Occasionally, players will encounter treasure chests that contain a bundle of arrows as well. Aside from chests, another reliable method for getting more arrows is to look for pots or cratesscattered all over Hyrule. As is tradition in the Legend of Zelda series, destroying pots and crates will usually get players some kind of item. One of these items that players can obtain is more arrows.
Are Arrows Used For Anything Besides Combat?
While arrows are useful for fighting an enemy at long range, they are also an important part of solving puzzles. In fact, using Fusion on an arrow will open up all sorts of possibilities. While going through the tutorial area, players will need to use at least one arrow fused with a Fire Fruit to get a key. So it is important to keep well stocked on arrows in case they are needed for any given situation, be it combat or a puzzle.
