Bomb Flowers are one of many items that consistently make appearances throughout the Legend of Zelda series. For the most part, they have been used to solve all sorts of puzzles since they made their debut in Ocarina of Time. While they were absent in Breath of the Wild, they have finally made their return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to Find Bomb Flowers
Bomb Flowers can be found fairly early on in the game. In fact, players can easily find and stock up on them before they've completed the quest to find Zelda in the tutorial area. In order to find Bomb Flowers, simply look for any caves or underground areas. Bomb Flowers grow in these places like ingredients that would be used for cooking. Just like with these ingredients, Bomb Flowers will regrow shortly after they have been picked.
Also for the first time in the series, players can pick them up and add them to their inventory instead of them blowing up several seconds after they are picked. Once players have managed to track down some Bomb Flowers, they may be wondering what they can do with them.
What Are Bomb Flowers Used For?
In some previous games like Link's Awakening and Twilight Princess, bombs could be combined with arrows to deliver long range explosives. Tears of the Kingdom adapts this with its diverse weapon crafting and fusion mechanics. When aiming an arrow, it is possible to select an ingredient to be used for fusion. This results in a variety of effects like starting fires or lighting up dark areas with Brightbloom Seeds.
This is how players will utilize Bomb Flowers. They can be fused with an arrow to create an explosion on demand. Since enemies can easily defeat players early on, having some Bomb Flowers to use in combat can help turn the tide in difficult situations. When combined with an arrow, Bomb Flowers do a significant amount of damage to a target and can stun Like Likes.
Can Bomb Flowers Break Cracked Walls?
As players explore Hyrule and the islands up in the sky, they will come across what appear to be cracked walls made out of rock. A Bomb Flower combined with an arrow can destroy these cracked walls. Typically, players will find treasure, resources, and hidden passage ways behind cracked walls, so they are well worth the effort to try and destroy them with Bomb Flowers when they are found.
