In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, stables serve as convenient resting places for Link to recover his health and care for his horses. Aside from availing themselves of these usual amenities, the player can also discover and undertake various quests by interacting with the stable's staff and fellow travelers.

Each stable's keeper presents a quest that involves sending Link on an expedition to locate and photograph a specific landmark or scenic spot. These photographs are then used by the stable keeper to create a painting that hangs on the interior wall of the stable. This quest becomes available once the player has completed any one of the game's four temples. The player can replace the photo at any time, making it enjoyable to revisit previous shots for these requests. Here’s how to complete the quest "A Picture for Woodland Stable" in Tears of the Kingdom.

Upon arriving at the stable, Link should enter and interact with the large frame on the wall to his right. This action will catch the attention of the stablekeeper, Kish. Kish mentions that the frame was given to them by the Stable Association and explains their desire to enhance the retreat's ambiance by showcasing a stunning painting. Kish knows precisely what they want: a photo of a Goron relaxing in the Goron City hot springs.
