A crafty Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player managed to build one of the very first remote controlled airplanes. Thanks to Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability, players have created all manner of driving, floating, and flying contraptions to get around the world of Hyrule. As an example, one imaginative Tears of the Kingdom player crafted an attack helicopter from basic Zonai devices, while another made a TIE fighter like the ones featured in the Star Wars universe.

Tears of the Kingdom recently launched to widespread praise among fans, not only bagging positive reviews but also setting the Guinness World Record for the fastest-selling Nintendo game to date. In the first three days of its launch, the game sold 10 million copies worldwide. Tears of the Kingdom has also become one of the best-reviewed games on Nintendo Switch, overthrowing other hits like Persona 5 Royal, Metroid Prime Remastered, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Reddit user miohonda decided to push Tears of the Kingdom's building mechanics to their limits with a remote controlled airplane. The player posted a clip of them driving the vehicle from the ground without any issues, saying they attached entangled shields to the motors to serve as electric receivers. To clarify, the plane motors entangled to the shields remotely transmit any electricity they receive without having to be underwater. This is how the plane can be powered from the ground and stay in the air for a while.

The original poster said they utilized fuse entanglement, which is a glitch that allows players to fuse an object to their shield without it disappearing from the world. When performed, the fused item remains on the floor but still counts as fused. For example, players can activate a Zonai wheel remotely if they entangle it to their shield. Though some players think fuse entanglement is a mechanic, many believe it is a glitch that should not be in the game. Recently, Nintendo has patched out Tears of the Kingdom's item duplication glitch that were breaking the economy of the game. It remains to be seen whether fuse entanglement will be removed from the game in a future update.

Tears of the Kingdom gives players a huge amount of freedom in building engineering marvels. From rechargeable electric cars to specially-modified boats, players can use a variety of vehicles to explore Tears of the Kingdom's beautiful locations. Also, these vehicles can be upgraded with the ancient Zonai devices, which are basically leftover advanced tech powered up by Link's energy cell. They add some sort of balancing effect to vehicular contraptions and allow players to turn them into death machines.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
