A player managed to scare a Yiga Clan member patrolling the Depths by using a convenient disguise in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Yiga Clan continue their dastardly efforts against Link in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but players may become well-equipped for a successful infiltration of the clan by exploring Hyrule and discovering Yiga Clan hideouts.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players will encounter the leader of the Yiga Clan while attempting to acquire the Autobuild ability. Master Kohga intends on using the ability and Zonai technology against Link in order to gain the favor of the "Magnificent One." If successful, Master Kohga believes the Magnificent One will bring about the end of the world. After facing Master Kohga in the Depths, the Ancient Zonai Constructs task Link with ending the Yiga Clan's schemes for a second time.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player BrickRush171 managed to get on board of a Yiga Clan-operated wing glider, scaring the pilot after Link's Yiga Armor set was removed. In the Depths, Yiga Clan members will patrol areas near their hideouts and search for Link after receiving word of Master Kohga's encounter. The Yiga Clan may use Zonai wing gliders to fly above the area and provide recon, but players may hijack the gliders with proper timing and awareness for their surroundings. BrickRush171 was able to infiltrate a nearby hideout with a proper disguise, board the wing glider, and scare the Yiga Clan member by revealing Link's identity.

To replicate this prank against the Yiga Clan member, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players must first acquire a full set of Yiga Armor. Three pieces of the Yiga Armor set may be obtained after defeating clan members near Mount Hylia, Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, and Aldor Foothills. Once the Yiga Armor set is complete, Link may successfully disguise himself as a member of the clan and gain successful entry into the main Yiga Clan hideout in Gerudo Desert.

The Yiga Armor serves its purpose as a masterful disguise in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, allowing players to take advantage of unsuspecting enemies. In addition, BrickRush171's new trick may prove useful for traversing the Depths since Zonai wing gliders may help Link travel across great distances in a short span of time.

Although some of the Yiga Clan's weapons return from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, several notable weapons are missing in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The latest Zelda title encourages players to fuse their own powerful weapons, but unique weapons like the Demon Carver and Vicious Sickle may be sorely missed by some Breath of the Wild fans. At the very least, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players may obtain an abundance of trusty Eightfold Blade weapons since it's a common item drop from Yiga Clan members.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
