The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has already cemented its legacy through its sprawling open world and commitment to player freedom.

These Zonai devices allow players to create cars, robots, and, in this case, a moving castle capable of taking on a Talus. Tears of the Kingdom player zhujzal took to the HyruleEngineering, a subreddit dedicated to complex tears of the Kingdom creations, to share their Porta-Castle. Here, they demonstrate its battle abilities, pitting their creation against a Battle Talus boss.

Heavyweight Battle: Porta-Castle vs Battle Talus

Link enters the Porta-Castle through a wooden 2x2 acting as a drawbridge. With a hit of Link's sword, the drawbridge retracts and the Porta-Castle activates. Four big wheels march it forward automatically. Link can also take control of the Porta-Castle, steering it himself using a steering stick found at the top of the creation. Also found at the top of the Porta-Castle is a canon, firing upon any enemy it gets in its sights.

With Link at the helm, zhujzal steers their Porta-Castle into battle, facing off against the mighty Battle Talus, the most ferocious of all Talus enemies found in Tears of the Kingdom. Once they approach the Battle Talus, the canon starts firing on the enemies found on top of it. Zhujzal assists their creation by firing arrows at the Bokoblins. The Talus emerges from the ground, throwing rocks at Link while the Porta-Tower fires canon shots towards it. Zhujzal is unharmed from the rocks thanks to their mobile castle and is able to shoot the Talus from the safety of the Porta-Castle. The Battle Talus proves no match for Link and the zhujzal's creation, proving the Porta-Tower to be the heavyweight champion.

Thanks to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's physics mechanics and Zonai abilities, players have the freedom to tackle the game however they see fit, encouraging creative designs like the Porta-Castle.
