One terrifyingly creative Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has brought to life a brutal contraption to destroy members of the Yiga Clan. There have been a variety of creative ways Tears of the Kingdom fans have found to wreak havoc in the game, but this particular invention looks like something created by a supervillain.

Since the game's release, Tears of the Kingdom has quickly become one of the most successful releases of the year. Although the story and open-world aspects of the game are still just as loved by many fans as they were with Breath of the Wild, the real star of Tears of the Kingdom is the building mechanics that are featured. Many players quickly fell in love with this addition, and it has caused nearly countless impressive, and sometimes even strange, creations. From giant robots to a Trojan horse replica, the building mechanics featured in Tears of the Kingdom have given many players the creative freedom to build whatever they can imagine. Although most of these inventions are innocent fun, sometimes players can build something hilariously horrifying.

A Reddit user known as LydSama shared their brutal creation on the Zelda subreddit. As a way to defeat members of the Yiga Clan, LydSama has built a fire-fueled box that looks like a trap pulled straight from a Saw movie. In a short clip showcasing the build, the box is placed over the Yiga Clan member and bathes them in a shower of fire, demonstrating just how wild creations can get in Tears of the Kingdom.

What's even funnier is that the conversation leading up to the kill involved the Yiga Clan member offering grilled bananas for sale, but they happened to be the one who was grilled. It's the nearly limitless possibilities the game's building mechanics offer that have caught the attention of many gamers, including even wrestler Steve Austin. The creative possibilities in Tears of the Kingdom speak to many different players, and sometimes that means being inspired to create a Yiga Clan rotisserie.

As players continue to one-up each other with amazing builds, the internet will continue to be filled with various examples of why Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best additions to this stacked year of releases. There was already plenty of love for Breath of the Wild, but Nintendo seems to have outdone itself with the inclusion of such a versatile building mechanic, even if it inspires some players to create something out of a nightmare.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
