A Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has utilized the impressive building mechanic of the game to create a functional mech in the Switch game. Though it used much of the same map as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom has introduced a plethora of new features, locations, and more to set it as one of the series' best, and players are building some wild inventions along their adventures.

Just like the release of Breath of the Wild, Nintendo has received wide praise for its innovations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Among the impressive additions in Tears of the Kingdom is the building mechanic which has led to several viral clips of Link combining things to unexpectedly create a new weapon or vehicle. Taking things even further, one player has fused enough items using the Ultrahand ability to create a functioning mech that's capable of strolling right past imposing enemies.

Reddit user AlfredoTheImpasta recently shared a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom clip highlighting their unique mech creation that has a few identifiable individual pieces. The fan has taken the chassis, batteries, canons, a mirror shield, stabilizer, steering stick, and more to make what they've dubbed the "Advanced Combat Mech." AlfredoTheImpasta's clip begins with the player spotlighting intricate details of the tall machine before activating it and riding the vehicle into Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Hyrule fields.

After a quick cut, AlfredoTheImpasta shows off their Advanced Combat Mech from the front before hopping on it near two Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom companions which turn to orbs that fly to Link once he starts rolling the machine around. The third part of AlfredoTheImpasta's Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom clip highlights the Advanced Combat Mech's ability to engage in combat, with fire flowing from its rockets before the canon attached to its left arm fires a blast at a target off-screen. According to AlfredoTheImpasta, they went through an unspecified number of iterations of this mech before arriving at the Advanced Combat Mech, with the initial version being blown apart by the placement of the canons.

Although it's currently unclear how many attempts AlfredoTheImpasta made to create their impressive mech, the successful build alone likely required loads of Zonaite. Because the mech can be turned in any direction, it's likely that AlfredoTheImpasta could cross most of Hyrule in their unique vehicle made with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
