A clever player built an impressive catapult designed for launching Koroks across great distances in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Koroks may ask Link for assistance in meeting another Korok friend in a nearby location.

The Ultrahand ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may be obtained by simply following the directions of Rauru in the Great Sky Island. Rauru's guidance is also crucial toward unlocking the Fuse, Ascend, and Recall abilities in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Ultrahand is necessary for building contraptions and solving various puzzles scattered throughout the Hyrule region. In addition, players may use the Ultrahand ability to transport Koroks, help Addison prop up Hudson Construction signs, and complete timed mini-games.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player Ceracuse recently built a Korok catapult with the purpose of launching the creature across a massive canyon near Rito Village. The Korok's destination is a small camp on the other side of the canyon, and a Zonai wing glider was placed nearby as a potential clue for players. Instead of transporting the Korok with the wing glider, Ceracuse decided to use Zonai platforms and stabilizers from their inventory to build the catapult. Several Zonai platforms are attached together in a row with two stabilizers acting as the launch mechanism for the catapult. If the player strikes a stabilizer, the catapult will activate and launch the Korok.

The Korok safely landed at the intended destination in the second attempt according to Ceracuse. The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player tested the catapult by launching Link first, but this attempt was unsuccessful since the character was launched directly upward into the sky unlike the Korok.

Ceracuse's Korok catapult is a simple solution since the Korok may safely land on the other side of the canyon without obstacles in the way. Once the Korok has landed, the player may use the paraglider to glide across the canyon and collect Korok Seeds, which are necessary for expanding Link's inventory slots in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Hundreds of Koroks are waiting to be discovered after starting Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and some players may spend months trying to obtain all Korok Seeds in the game world. In the meantime, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players will likely continue to come up with new ways of transporting Koroks across Hyrule, while others devise new methods of torturing and tormenting Koroks.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
