The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild, and a few enemies have returned for the sequel. The Yiga Clan of stealthy thieves and assassins are back, but they bring more than just a few weapons for Link to use against them.
There is an entire Yiga armor set in Tears of the Kingdom, and players can become one of them by donning the bodysuit and mask. In line with how the clan operates, the armor set can be very hard to find. This guide will show players where to go and how to obtain the entire Yiga armor set.
How To Get The Yiga Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Yiga armor set is not for players looking for a head-to-head confrontation. This set is more about sneaking past enemies, as it has low defense but increases Link's stealth with each piece worn. There are three pieces in the set, each located in different parts of Hyrule. Each involves battling Yiga Clan members, who can teleport and have devastating sword attacks.
Yiga Mask
The Yiga Mask can be found in a small house south of the Temple of Time Ruins near Lake Hylia. It is easily viewable from the Temple of Time, and the house is surrounded by wooden spike fortifications. Get over the defensive barrier by gliding in with the paraglider or building a ramp over it.
Knock on the front door to be ambushed by two Yiga Clan soldiers. Defeat the soldiers and enter the house to talk to Pitar. He will give Link the Yuga Mask, which has one armor stat.
Yiga Armor
The Yiga Armor is located in the northeast corner of Hyrule, in the Deep Akkala region near the Akkala Sea. It can be revealed on the map through the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower. The exact location is the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, a small house sitting on top a hillside at the end of the path.
Knock on the front door, and Link will be attacked by two Yiga Clan ninjas. Take care of both of them, and then go inside the house to talk to Konba. He will hand over the Yiga Armor, which has a base armor stat of one.
Yiga Tights
The Yiga Tights are located in the Aldor Foothills area west of the Great Hyrule Forest. Players can travel directly east of the Kiuyoyou Shrine near the foothills until coming across a bunch of small Yiga statues in front of the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch cave. Walk inside the cave to fight two Yiga soldiers in a spacious central area. After defeating them, look up towards the ceiling of the central area for a big square opening. There are other side rooms in the cave, but only contain various resources.
Use the Ascend ability next to the square opening to rise up in a secret room with the designer Aliza. She will give Link the Yiga Tights, which have an armor stat of one.
