A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fan has created a flying boat to travel across the world of Hyrule. In Tears of the Kingdom, boats are one of the most common vehicles composed of building materials like logs, sails, and branches. Players can even attach Tears of the Kingdom's Zonai devices to their boats to turn them into hoverboards.

Tears of the Kingdom has taken Nintendo's iconic series to the next level by introducing new gameplay mechanics, such as Link's Ultrahand and Fuse abilities. There are notable differences between Tears of the Kingdom and 2017's Breath of the Wild, even though both games take place in the same universe. Tears of the Kingdom, for example, has a more cohesive narrative and adds two extra layers to the world: Sky Islands and the Depths. They contain some of the toughest challenges of the game, as well as some of the rarest treasure chests. A flying boat with a healthy battery could easily take players to these brand-new locations.

One creative Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has managed to build a flying boat, which seems to be composed of two rockets and four balloons. Reddit user soliera posted a screenshot of this functional vehicle, saying they had to go to a small island in the Necluda Sea to find a large boat. The original poster also claimed that the batteries ran out quickly due to the vehicle being too heavy. In the comments, some players suggested they replace the flame emitters with torches to improve battery health.

Though Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been out only a few weeks, players have come up with all sorts of vehicles using Link's Ultrahand ability. Creativity is the way some members of the Zelda community celebrate their favorite game in the RPG series. A player has built a functional TIE Fighter featured in the Star Wars universe, while others have made an off-road buggy and a wheel bike to travel across the vast Kingdom of Hyrule. Many Zelda fans hope this engineering trend won't slow down anytime soon.

Tears of the Kingdom features a number of locations that players can explore with their own vehicles. These locations, some of which were featured in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, are filled with many quests and items for players to find. Zelda fans will also recognize the names of locations as they are references to some beloved characters that appeared in previous games.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently available to play on Switch.
