The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has taught one fan an important lesson about fire safety, in that even in the realm of video games, it needs to be taken seriously. As players have made their way through the latest Zelda game, Link's new abilities have been used to make all sorts of strange creations from unique, personal vehicles to even a machine that can teleport fans from the Depths to the Sky Islands.

Tears of the Kingdom gives players an incredible amount of building options, and even the most simple mistakes can result in some hilarious mishaps that make great clips for other fans to laugh at. Even creating weapons with the Fuse mechanic can lead to something funny in hindsight. In the case of one fan, however, all it took was a wrong turn for something to go terribly awry.

Twitter user @Ammbot_ had taken the time to create a wonderful and large horse-drawn carriage to travel around with. She was about to take it out on some sort of adventure when Amelie noticed she had turned the camera too late to find she had missed a turn. This led to Link cutting into a smaller settlement, with the wagon running directly into a fence nearby. Amelie's impressive carriage unfortunately tipped over to the right, and landed directly on one of Tears of the Kingdom's many cooking pots.

Amelie did what she could to act fast to save her custom cart, using the Ultrahand ability to try and pull the carriage off the pot, but it almost immediately caught on fire. The flames spread to the rest of the structure, and Ammbot_ only had a few seconds to try and put it out to no avail. The structure was quickly split into pieces, and even the Zonai items that are brand-new to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom burned away instantly. The flames had also burned a nearby NPC as collateral damage.

What's even more tragic about the events is that once the video of Amelie's unfortunate accident had been shared to Twitter, she and other fans realized that Splash Fruits could have likely saved the horse-drawn carriage with ease. One fan has also pointed out in the comments that Ammbot_ may have lost her horse in the incident as well, as the animal is nowhere to be seen afterward.

The events shown in this clip show just how dangerous fire in Tears of the Kingdom can be as all of this damage was caused by one cooking pot that just happened to be in the way. Other players making their way through the game should take note to not follow in Amelie's footsteps as it could cost them both a great build, and maybe even a travel companion.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
