One Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player shares a very easy method for completing the Molduga boss fight in the Gerudo Desert. Following in the footsteps of Breath of the Wild, the latest Zelda title continues to build on that foundation with a massive open world to explore while letting players move at their own pace. Part of the appeal of Tears of the Kingdom are Link's new abilities like Ultrahand which leans heavily into player expression through creating vehicles, contraptions, and just about anything else that can be thought up.

Players have continued to push the limits of what Tears of the Kingdom allows through many of the new abilities with no shortage of creations appearing online. So far, players have shared everything from simple vehicles to some of the more outlandish creations like a snake mech that can extend for stability during combat and construct for added mobility and less battery usage. However, while Ultrahand creations continue to be popular among the community, some have found creative solutions to overcoming some of Tears of the Kingdom's various challenges like Shrines and even boss fights.

While exploring the Gerudo Desert, Tears of the Kingdom players may inadvertently stumble into a sand monster called Molduga. While this boss battle may seem daunting at first, a Reddit user named CrimsonManticore has found a way that trivializes the fight without the need of any items at all. One prerequisite is that the player must have finished off the Goron City portion of the Regional Phenomena main quest to unlock the spirit form of Yunobo. Using his sage power against Molduga, players can launch Yunobo at the exact moment Molduga attempts to jump at the player out of the sand, stunning it, and allowing the player to easily attack it.

Many in the comments were seemingly more surprised at a way Yunobo can be useful, though many found this method to be much more efficient than using other items like an arrow to bait Molduga to get close enough for bomb arrows to take hold. CrimsonManticore did provide a small tip for those having trouble with the Molduga boss fight timing, mentioning that an apple can be thrown down to bait Molduga and then launch Yunobo to stun the creature above the sand.

It's clear that players will still be creating and discovering things for quite a while thanks in large part to how flexible the Tears of the Kingdom systems are. In fact, one player made a surprising discovery regarding the unique encounters featuring Phantom Ganon. If Link is able to successfully hide from the creature, it starts to spread gloom throughout the area in an effort to essentially flush the player out. With new discoveries happening almost daily as well as DLC likely on the horizon, it looks like Tears of the Kingdom will continue to be near the top of the Switch's most played charts for a while longer.
