A creative Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fan took the time to crochet an adorable doll based on one of the many Koroks that can be found in the game. Koroks in Tears of the Kingdom are known for popping up all over the massive land of Hyrule, and in the sky islands.

When The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild hit the shelves in 2017, one of the most memorable new additions to the over-30-year-old franchise was solving Korok puzzles. Koroks are small plant-like creatures with leaf-like faces that like to hide under rocks and other objects. Link can also find Koroks by solving the random puzzles that populate Hyrule, including everything from unplugging a cork to hitting targets with a bow. When Link finds one, he’s rewarded with a Korok Seed, which can be used to expand his inventory of weapons, bows, or shields. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Koroks have returned, and they’re just as playful as ever. There are new Korok puzzles to solve in Tears of the Kingdom, including a popular puzzle that involves helping a backpack-wearing Korok find his friend.

Instead of searching for a new Korok, Reddit user No-Amphibian2690 decided to make one of his own. In his recent post, he showcased a slideshow of his latest creation, stating that he simply grabbed some yarn, used his “ultra hand,” and created his new little friend. The crocheted Korok doll is the perfect size, and its leaf-like face looks exactly like it should. No details were given about how long this Korok from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom took to make, but the craftsmanship presented here showcases some true skill.

This doll seems to be based on one of the more common Koroks in the game, but there are many differently shaped Koroks that can be found. In fact, there are over 800 Koroks to be found in Tears of the Kingdom. So if No-Amphibian2690 were to crochet a doll for each Korok in the game, it would take a very long time.

For Tears of the Kingdom fans looking for more crocheted dolls, they can check out the King Rauru doll created by Reddit user cuteebutfunnyusername. This plush crochet doll is very intricate and represents the original king of Hyrule. Crochet dolls are also common in the Animal Crossing and Pokemon communities as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
