One The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has built a massive aircraft by combining Zonai devices and a colossal fossil. Tears of the Kingdom gives players every tool they need to create vehicles. The sandbox nature of these tools, such as Zonai devices and Link's abilities, gave birth to a plethora of contraptions from dinosaur mechs and combat suits to floating cars. Some players have taken inspiration from infamous vehicles featured in sci-fi franchises, building the UNSC Savannah and the N-1 Starfighter with spare materials.

Tears of the Kingdom features an abundance of monsters, some of which drop useful materials after being killed. They are essential for upgrading equipment, crafting elixirs, and building vehicles. Additionally, monster parts can be fused to weapons to increase their capabilities. There are also a few colossal fossils hidden inside caves, but players can't pick them up. However, these giant skeletons can serve as a vehicle when combined with Zonai devices that provide propulsion, including fans and balloons.

A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player known as DarkNuck84 on Reddit has built a large vehicle by combining a colossal fossil and Zonai devices. The player seems to have attached three Zonai planes to the top of the skeleton, and they also put a big battery to generate power. It can stay in the air for a short time due to its enormous size. The original poster revealed that they had to complete the Gerudo's Colossal Fossil side quest to get all these bones. One thing to note is that the build can be upgraded with rockets and emitters to use it against mobs of enemies.

Tears of the Kingdom players can add more Zonai batteries to use the vehicle for a longer time. It's worth noting that these power units can only be found in treasure chests scattered throughout Hyrule. They are one of the most important devices because fans and wheels remain deactivated without energy. Players should also keep in mind that big batteries can't be removed once attached to the frame.

In order to build contraptions in Tears of the Kingdom, players must master the Ultrahand ability, which is unlocked early in the campaign. Ultrahand allows players to manipulate the world around them. Ultrahand works on almost every material lying around Hyrule and makes it easier to construct custom vehicles.
