Stealth is a lot more important in Tears of the Kingdom than some players may realize. It plays an incredibly important part in a player's ability to remain undetected by some of the fiercer enemies, to sneak up behind a horse, or capture some of the rarer insects in Tears of the Kingdom.

This has allowed fans to find more rare and potent ingredients to use in their recipes. When it comes to sneaking, ingredients such as Stealthfin Trouts and Sneaky River Snails can be used to boost Link's stealth further, making it much easier to approach certain creatures and catch them, or make sneak attacks on enemies. There are plenty of ways to use these ingredients in dishes, but certain recipes are more potent than others. Players can find some of the best uses for these ingredients here.

10 Cheesy Baked Fish

Stealthfin Trouts are one of the most effective ingredients for increasing Link's stealth in Tears of the Kingdom. They're a pretty rare find, as they only live in the lake surrounding the Great Hyrule Forest. However, it's worth taking the trip to catch them. Once they're cooked, they provide Link with a significant boost to his stealth, in addition to restoring hearts.

One recipe players in which can use Stealthfin Trouts is the Cheesy Baked Fish dish. For this, players will need Hateno Cheese, and one to four Stealthfin Trouts. This will provide Link with a moderate stealth boost, and some Heart restoration too.

9 Seafood Rice Balls

One of the easier recipes to cook in Tears of the Kingdom to boost Link's stealth is the Seafood Rice Balls dish. It only consists of two different ingredients: Hylian Rice, and a Stealthfin Trout.

Players can add up to four Stealthfin Trout in this dish, with the amount of Hearts and stealth increasing with each additional fish. The Stealthfin Trouts can also be substituted for Sneaky River Snails, which are slightly more common than Stealthfin Trout.

8 Mushroom Rice Balls

Tears of the Kingdom players who find they have too many Silent Shrooms can quickly make this dish for a medium level of stealth bonus. The recipe for Sneaky Mushroom Rice Balls requires between one and four Silent Shrooms, and some Hylian Rice.

Hylian Rice can be bought from various merchants around Hyrule, and Silent Shrooms can be found in West Necluda and the Akkala Highlands. These mushrooms are instantly recognizable at night due to their glowing caps.

7 Veggie Porridge

This recipe may already be familiar to players who have completed the side quest, Gloom-borne Illness. Whilst the recipe in the quest using Sundelions, this recipe uses Silent Princesses instead. The whole recipe for some Sneaky Veggie Porridge requires Hylian Rice, Fresh Milk and between one and three Silent Princesses.

If the player finds that they don't have enough Silent Princesses, they can swap them out for Blue Nightshades, although the stealth boost won't be as large.

6 Steamed Tomatoes

Due to the abundance of Hylian Tomatoes available in Tears of the Kingdom, players may find they have far too many of them. Luckily, this dish is perfect for putting those tomatoes to good use. The Steamed Tomatoes recipe requires a Hylian Tomato, and between one and four Silent Princesses.

Silent Princesses are commonly found in the Korok Forest, whereas Hylian Tomatoes often grow in the East and West Neculda regions. Combined, this recipe should provide players with a high-level stealth boost.

5 Fried Rice And Egg

One of the recipes in Tears of the Kingdom that players can make using Bird Eggs is some Sneaky Fried Egg and Rice. This dish will greatly increase their stealth, which makes it much easier trying to catch Fairies. The ingredients players will need for this recipe are: Bird Egg, Hylian Rice, and one to three Silent Princesses.

The more Silent Princesses the player adds to the dish, the greater their stealth boost will be. If players are running low on Silent Princesses, they can substitute them for Blue Nightshades, albeit at a smaller stealth bonus.

4 Fried Wild Greens

Players who find themselves with an abundance of Silent Princesses can cook this simple dish that will greatly increase their stealth. To make some Sneaky Fried Wild Greens, the player will need to gather up to five Silent Princesses and throw them into a cooking pot together.

As a result, the dish will provide the player with high-level stealth. This can be useful for players who are struggling to capture certain insects, as the bonus stealth will make it much easier to approach without startling them.

3 Salt-Grilled Greens

Another simple recipe Tears of the Kingdom players can cook to improve their stealth is the Sneaky Salt-Grilled Greens. This recipe requires some Rock Salt and between one and four Silent Princesses. If the player finds that they don't have enough Silent Princesses, they can swap them out for Blue Nightshades (for a lesser stealth boost).

Players will most likely come across Rock Salt as they're mining, but they can also buy it from certain vendors around Hyrule if they're running low. Silent Princesses are pretty common in Korok Forest, so once players have managed to find their way inside, they should be able to stock up.

This simple recipe requires a Silent Shroom, and between one and four Silent Princesses. It is possible to substitute the Silent Princesses for some Blue Nightshades, but the stealth bonus provided won't be as large.

Silent Shrooms can commonly be found in the Akkala Highlands and West Necluda, and are incredibly visible at night, due to their glowing caps. The easiest place to find an abundance of Silent Princesses is in the Korok Forest.

This relatively simple recipe is one of the best for increasing Link's stealth in Tears of the Kingdom. Luckily, it only requires players to gather up to five Silent Shrooms. Once cooked, the dish will provide players with ten minutes of high-level stealth. This is particularly useful for players who are struggling to sneak up on a horse without startling it.

Players can find Silent Shrooms most commonly in the Akkala Highlands and West Necluda. They can be spotted pretty easily at night due to their glowing caps. Therefore, players trying to farm Silent Shrooms should do so while it's dark, as their glow is pretty hard to miss.
