A fan of The Legend of Zelda series used some creative means to make a full rendering of the map of Termina, the setting of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, with each part of the map properly connected along paths and routes. The fan then posted their handiwork on Reddit, where other fans of Majora's Mask complimented them for their work and remembered fond memories of their time in Termina.

The second N64 game in the series, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask released in 2000, just two years after its predecessor, Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask saw a young Link wind up in Termina, where the Hero of Time found himself locked in an ironic time loop upon his arrival. At the mercy of the Skull Kid, who was possessed by the titular mask, Link was turned into a Deku Scrub and looked for a way to break the curse. With the aid of the Happy Mask Salesman, Link returned to normal and could tap into the power of 24 unique masks to gain new forms and abilities in order to avert the terrible fate that awaited Termina.

On the r/Zelda subreddit, a user named max-zilla pulled data and in-game models from the Nintendo 3DS port of Majora's Mask to recreate a map of Termina where each region was interconnected to Clock Town at the center of the map. On the map, the Southern Swamp and Deku Palace were located towards the southeast. The northwest region was occupied by Snowhead, home of the Goron, and the southwest was where the Zora Cape and Great Bay Temple were placed. The northeast side of the Termina map was the location of Ikana Canyon and the Stone Tower Temple. Finally, a separate portion on the bottom right of max-zilla's map indicated the cathartic final portion of Majora's Mask.

On r/Zelda, max-zilla's handiwork received over 600 upvotes in less than a day. In the comments section, max-zilla stated they used some techniques to put everything together and create a better perspective, particularly with Romani Ranch and Great Bay being close to one another. The post from max-zilla came just under a year after Majora's Mask was released on Nintendo Switch as part of the Switch Online Expansion Pack.

With audiences remembering iconic characters such as Tingle and the Skull Kid to this day, Majora's Mask has stood out as one of the most memorable games in the entire Zelda series. Only time will tell how the dark tones of Termina will carry over into the upcoming Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is available now for Nintendo 3DS, N64, and Nintendo Switch.
