A part of the world of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask has been reimagined in Minecraft, as one player has meticulously built Clock Town. While this Minecraft build has a more blocky appearance, it recreates many iconic areas from the ill-fated town from one of the darker Legend of Zelda games in the series.

The world of Termina, where Majora’s Mask takes place, is full of unusual characters and equally memorable locations. Among the most well-known spots is Clock Town, the game’s main city and the home of various NPCs. As the name suggests, the location features a large clock tower in the town square. In addition to this landmark, Clock Town is surrounded by a large wall and divided into four sections, each leading to other areas of the larger world of Termina. Despite this location already being the subject of fan art, one of the latest creations imagines what the world would look like in Minecraft.

Zelda: Majora's Mask and Tears of the Kingdom Are More Closely Connected Than You Think

While two of Zelda's highest profile sequels invite plenty of comparison, Tears of the Kingdom and Majora's Mask actually have a lot in common.

In a YouTube video, a Majora’s Mask fan known as Chain2dWall showcased their impressive recreation of Clock Town in Minecraft. The roughly nine-minute video provided a tour of the incredible build, showcasing the different districts of the town. In addition, the player included comparison shots of some of the in-game areas, highlighting the impressive attention to detail in the Minecraft creation. According to the video, all four districts of Termina’s largest city appeared to be recreated, with the clock tower as a focal point.

Beyond recreating the exterior of buildings, Chain2dWall went further and meticulously detailed the interiors of structures. A few iconic locations in this reimagining include The Great Fairy Fountain, Deku Scrub Playground, and Town Shooting Gallery. However, these are only a few highlights of the massive project.

When working on the ambitious project, Chain2dWall utilized a variety of Minecraft blocks and items to give the town life. Impressively, they had completed the entire project solo and did not use any mods. Furthermore, they noted this recreation was based on the 3DS remake of the game. In the comments of the video, one user hoped Chain2dWall would expand their project in the future to include other parts of Termina. While the creator said there would be “some slight hurdles” that would need to be dealt with to make it a reality, they said it could happen someday.

Unsurprisingly, this is not the only Zelda-themed build Minecraft players have created. Following the release of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, another gamer recreated the Great Sky Islands in Minecraft, showcasing the impressive level of detail in the world above Hyrule. While players wait for the next installment in The Legend of Zelda series to be revealed, it will be interesting to see what other iconic locations from the series are remade by fans in the interim.
