There are a grand total of 120 shrines in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Each has its own unique puzzle inside that need the Sheikah slate's Runic powers as well as the player's wits to complete. One of the more difficult shrines to figure out is the Shee Vaneer Shrine.

The Shee Vaneer Shrine in Breath of the Wild

The Shee Vaneer Shrine is located in West Necluda, west of the Hateno Tower and southwest of Kakariko Village. It is located on the very top of the split mountain, called the Dueling Peaks. Opposite to the Shee Vaneer Shrine is the Shee Venath Shrine, which is located immediately on the opposite peak.

As players enter the Shee Vaneer Shrine, one of the hardest shrines in Breath of the Wild, they will notice that the name of the trial is "Twin Memories." This gives them a big hint on how to complete the trial. The solution to each of the puzzles is in the opposite Shrine. There is also a riddle on a stone immediately inside of each of these Shrines that spells it out a little more clearly.

Shee Vaneer Solution for Breath of the Wild

Solving Shee Vaneer

When Breath of the Wild players walk into Shee Venath, the floor will be split into a five by five grid. Each of those will either be lit up blue, which means that circle contains a ball, or they will be lit orange indicating the circle is empty of a ball. In order to see the pattern on the floor more clearly, players can climb up onto the platform and look down. The pattern on the floor in Shee Venath will look like this:

This is the solution for the puzzle in Shee Vaneer Shrine. Players will have to memorize this layout or simply take a photo with the Sheikah Slate's photo mode, then return to the Shee Vaneer Shrine on the opposite peak, picking up each of the balls from the floor and putting them into the pattern of the Shee Venath's floor.

In order to solve Shee Venath's puzzle, players will also have to memorize the layout of Shee Vaneer's floor and repeat the pattern over at the other shrine. So just in case players started moving the balls around before they had a chance to memorize it, the solution for that other puzzle is:

Players will then be free to explore the rest of the Hateno tower's lands, which include several inhabited by Breath of the Wild's long-lived and mysterious Sheikah people.
