Nintendo has started and continues to be building up hype for the release of Breath of the Wild's sequel, Tears of the Kingdom. Recently, the company has been trying to crack down on Tears of the Kingdom leakers, even hitting the platform Discord with a lawsuit for being the main channel of one of the game's major leaks. Despite all this, BotW fans seem to be keeping their excitement up and finding new ways to challenge themselves when playing through the six-year-old action-RPG.On Twitter, streamer gv_mimi shared several short snippets of her playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with only an ocarina as her controller. The Hispanic content creator started this specific challenge on her Twitch channel around March 2023, and it was only recently that she was finally able to beat the last boss. According to their streams, gv_mimi mapped the notes on their musical instrument as inputs in the game. However, they did add a disclaimer that they will also be using some keyboard commands to execute several inputs simultaneously.
To make things more challenging on her The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild playthrough, gv_mimi also said that she will use her voice to try and control the game for every five viewers that subscribe to her channel. Even though this may sound extremely difficult for other players, the streamer seems to already be very well-versed in the nuances and gameplay of Breath of the Wild and is likely looking to add more exciting things to do in their playthrough.
Now that gv_mimi has finished her current challenge, she seems to be attempting to complete The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Sword trials upside down. Even though completing this content may be nothing new for the player base, gv_mimi's attempt will likely still be something interesting for fellow fans to witness.
