The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's massive open-world has a lot for players to discover. There are 120 Shrine puzzles to solve, 900 Korok Seeds, and a whopping 76 side-quests. Completing side-quests usually rewards Link with Rupees and other items, so it's for the player's benefit if they work on checking them all off. One of the side-quests that players will find will be in Zora's Domain, and it's called "A Wife Washed Away." This guide will go over all of the steps necessary to complete this quest, which involves finding a mans' lost wife named Mei.

Breath of the Wild players can start the quest by heading over to Zora's Domain. It's easiest to fast travel to the Ne'ez Yohma Shrine and then make a path to the quest-giver named Fronk. From the shrine itself, go up the stairs in front of it. Turn left at the statue and enter the first pathway leading to a character facing a pillar near two children. He'll tell players that his wife has gone missing, so it's up to Link to find her. The thing is, she's nowhere near Zora's Domain.

Breath of the Wild players will now want to fast travel to Lake Hylia, specifically the Ya Naga Shrine right next to the Bridge of Hylia. This area is called Hylia island and is where Mei can be found.

If facing away from the shrine, players should head up the cliff path that leads to a boat and boardwalk. Turn to the right and keep going until players get to the tiny island to the east of Hylia Island. Mei will be standing or swimming nearby, and players need to speak to her for the quest to be marked as completed. Just be careful, as there are some enemies in this area that can hurt Link, and they also look similar to Mei, so don't get confused about who is the enemy and who is the ally.

Mei will tell Link that she accidentally got carried away catching some fish, but she heads back to Zora's Domain after giving players 5 Staminoka Bass. Eating these will restore a lot of stamina and heal one heart back.
