Justice League and the other DCEU films are hit or miss, but each film has its dedicated fan base due to the love of the characters, actors, or even the directors. Most DC films are exclusively on Max, with a select few getting licensed to other streaming services occasionally. In July of this year, there were worries that Warner Bros. was removing Zack Snyder's Justice League from Max amid their plans to reboot the universe into the DCU.

Netflix announced that Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman 1984, The Suicide Squad would all be available to stream on their platform starting December 1st. Shazam, Black Adam, and DC's League of Super-Pets, and The Batman will also join. As of right now, the films will still be available on Max and some other DC films on Amazon Prime Video as well. This will make the films more accessible to audiences. Although Netflix acquired the rights to stream a massive bundle of DCEU films, the announcement was met with immediate backlash.

Snyderverse fans were upset that Zack Snyder's Justice League and Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition, which they believe are the best versions of the respective films, were not getting added to Netflix. One user said, “You got the Wrong Movie out there. A parody one. Where is the original Movie Zack Snyder's Justice League ?” Another user stated, “Nice try, but that’s the wrong Justice League!” While another user asked Netflix, “Would you please put Batman vs Superman Ultimate Edition and Zack Snyder's Justice League on there?” There are a couple of reasons that fans are adamant about Netflix getting these versions of the films.

Zack Snyder's Justice League and Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition are still available to stream on Max, with Batman v. Superman Ultimate Edition also available on Amazon Prime. However, fans would like them to come to Netflix so they are more widely available. Additionally, it would help the “sell the Snyderverse to Netflix” movement if the films do well on the platform. Some fans want Warner Bros. to make a deal with Netflix to finish Zack Snyder's Justice League plans. Snyder commented on selling the Snyderverse to Netflix, but no progress has been made.

For fans of Justice League and the other seven DCEU films, this is still an exciting announcement as they will be easier to access for however long they stay on Netflix.
