Popular game developer XSEED Games has announced the lineup of games set to be featured at the studio's Anime Expo booth, including a mystery game to be announced. While XSEED isn't one of the gaming industry's biggest household names, the developer has been involved with a plethora of popular game franchises. As a subsidiary of Marvelous, XSEED has worked on everything from Rune Factory and No More Heroes to the Fate and Touhou franchises. Now, the developer's Anime Expo show is coming with a special surprise for fans.

With Anime Expo on the horizon, XSEED has already given fans a taste of what's in store from the developer throughout recent weeks. June's Nintendo Direct saw the official release date reveal for Farmagia, a new mix of farming sim and action games with art by Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima. The cult classic Corpse Party franchise is also seeing a new entry coming in the near future, with XSEED working on the localization for Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion. XSEED has now revealed its full lineup for Anime Expo ahead of the Los Angeles convention next week.

Farmagia Confirms Switch Release Date

Marvelous announces the release date for Farmagia, its fantasy-themed farming and action game hybrid, featuring the art of a famed manga creator.

As reported by Gematsu, XSEED Games has confirmed its official lineup of games set to be featured at the studio's Anime Expo booth. The developer is set to feature Naruto: Emblem Battle as an arcade version of the beloved anime franchise, alongside the previously-mentioned Corpse Party, Farmagia, and a new remake of Potionomics. XSEED also confirmed it will be debuting a mystery game during the show, with fans reportedly able to try a hands-on demo of the game at the convention.

While details were slim about what the mystery title from XSEED Games could be, one of XSEED Games' biggest franchises could potentially fill the spot. The intrigue surrounding the mystery game could be hinting at a major reveal for one of the studio's biggest series, with multiple Rune Factory games on the way. Marvelous officially revealed Rune Factory: Project Dragon last year as a spinoff of the franchise, while also confirming the development for Rune Factory 6. Release dates were not revealed at the time for either Rune Factory game.

XSEED's mystery announcement at Anime Expo will likely join plenty of other anime-themed game announcements. Last year saw developer Inti Creates announce Yohane the Parhelion: Blaze in the Deepblue as an unusual Metroidvania spinoff of the popular Love Live! anime franchise. HoYoverse also typically has a strong presence at Anime Expo, likely showing off more about Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero. XSEED Games' newest announcement will likely excite plenty of fans of the developer as it shows off its next major release.
