Fame and fortune are not always a smooth ride, and Twitch star Felix 'xQc' Lengyel found that out the hard way when his home was almost broken into on Easter Sunday. In a Twitch stream, the streamer shared details of the incident, including how the police allegedly couldn't help due to the holiday.

As one of the most prominent figures on the Twitch platform, xQc is no stranger to the spotlight. However, he is currently going through a rough patch, with xQc's separation from former partner Adept becoming a topic of intense discussion among the Twitch community. Nevertheless, all of his personal issues were momentarily pushed aside when he received a notification from his home security system indicating that someone was attempting to break into his house.

Controversial streamer xQc shared the harrowing experience during his stream, explaining that he was preparing for a late-night broadcast when he received the alert on his phone. Upon checking the camera feed, he saw a man fiddling with the code to his security system and trying to tamper with the cameras. Understandably shaken, xQc immediately dialed the police for assistance. To his surprise, he was informed that the situation was not an emergency and that the authorities would not be able to respond due to the Easter Sunday holiday.

This response was frustrating for Twitch streamer xQc, who expressed his disappointment on stream, highlighting the need for constant vigilance and the importance of having access to immediate assistance during such alarming situations. Fortunately, the situation did not escalate, and xQc's home remained safe and secure.

The Twitch streamer's experience with the attempted break-in is a reminder of the importance of personal security for influencers. While the police were unable to respond due to the holiday, the situation could have been much worse if the intruder had gained entry to the home. This incident should also serve as a wake-up call for influencers to take proactive steps to safeguard themselves and their homes, especially when they can't rely on immediate police assistance.

Unfortunately, xQc's situation is not unique. In early March, fellow female Twitch streamer Amouranth faced a similar intrusion by a long-time stalker. While she was away at a boxing press conference, the stalker attempted to enter her home by approaching one of her house staff. Fortunately, the staff member promptly shut the door and prevented the stalker from entering. Amouranth reported the incident to the authorities, leading to the stalker's arrest for violating restraining and trespassing orders.
