Since the X-Men '97 trailer debuted, fans have been in a frenzy over the long-awaited upcoming series. Amid the mania, one fan with a sharp eye has spotted a new surprise in the Disney Plus version of the trailer that most others have probably not noticed yet.

When the X-Men '97 trailer first dropped, fans quickly noticed the Spider-Man easter egg regarding the missing hyphen, and some even became upset by it. The newest surprise, found by an eagle-eyed super fan, shows a brief new shot of one of the most famous couples in the X-Men franchise.

A thread by Redditor u/Takato_Mart revealed a screenshot of Rogue and Gambit in the Disney Plus version of the X-Men '97 trailer on Disney Plus. Playing the Disney Plus version of the X-Men '97 trailer side-by-side with the other versions reveals that this shot of Rogue and Gambit is a new addition. The original poster was lucky to catch it before everyone else. What’s even better is other Redditors who commented shared the original poster’s excitement. And with the positive response to just a quick snippet of power couple Rogue and Gambit, they’re doing everything right.

X-Men '97 has capitalized heavily on nostalgia and excitement and has already provided fans with other little surprises and easter eggs to keep them hyped for the show’s premiere. Further, the recent release of X-Men '97 Funko Pops revealed legendary characters for the rumored video game episode. So, it's not surprising to learn fans are rewatching the X-Men '97 enough times to catch even the slightest changes or additions.

It will be interesting to see what Marvel Studios teases next because X-Men lore runs deep, and there are probably hundreds of other things that fans hope to see with the upcoming revival. Whatever the next surprise is, it’s guaranteed fans will excitedly embrace it.
