With the release of Wave 2 of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's Expansion Pass content, players are able to unlock two swimsuits for each party member. These are acquired by participating in the new challenge battles added in the same Wave of DLC, with a party of level 50 characters being recommended to obtain all of them.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3's DLC adds several new quests, a new Mechanical Hero named Ino, and of course the new Challenge Battles mentioned earlier. With a new hero, her class "Noponic Protector", and the already vast assortment of classes and skills in the game, players have plenty of options when strategizing for the challenge battles.

Noah's Swimsuits

Noah in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Unlocking Noah's Swimsuits requires players to complete two different Challenge Battles. The first of these challenges is Defenders' Gut Check, which tasks players with defeating multiple waves of Levnis' from both Agnus and Keves, with each wave deploying stronger Levnis. This challenge locks the party to level 20, with the final wave of enemies being level 25, and completing it with an A-Rank or better unlocks Noah's Swimwear A.

"Ocean Day Parade" is the other challenge battle needed for unlocking Noah's Swimwear. It is a battle which takes place entirely in the water, against a variety of oceanic enemies. Beat it with B-Rank or better to grab Noah's Swimwear B. It has 5 waves and locks the party to level 50, and is only unlocked after reaching Chapter 6.

Mio's Swimsuits

Mio in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Mio's first Swimsuit is unlocked in the Insecticide challenge battle, which locks the party to level 20 much like Defenders' Gut Check, and consists of 3 waves of insect enemies. Players will need at least an A-rank to unlock Mio's Swimsuit A.

Mio's Second Swimsuit is unlocked by completing the Pretty Fierce challenge battle with a rank of at least A. This challenge locks the party to level 50 and consists of 4 waves of assorted "cute" monsters. Clear this and unlock Mio's Swimsuit B.

Eunie's Swimsuits

Eunie in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Eunie's first swimsuit is unlocked by getting an A-rank or better in the Philharmonic Dust-Up challenge battle, which locks the party to level 20 and throws three waves of Igna and Tirkin at them. Clear it for Eunie's Swimsuit A.

Eunie's Swimsuit B also requires an A-rank, this time in the Ouroboros Fever challenge battle, which locks the party to level 60 but greatly reduces interlink heat build up, allowing players to interlink for longer and tear through enemies with powerful Ouroboros attacks. It has four waves, and clearing it will snag the second swimsuit for Eunie, but it requires players to have started Chapter 7 before it can be attempted.

Taion's Swimsuits

Taion in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

To get hold of Taion's Swimsuits, which reveal he has a core crystal, players will need to complete two challenge battles. The first is Six Angry Beasts, which locks the party to level 30 and consists of 3 waves of Armu, Ardun, and a Balgas. Clear it with A-rank or better to get Taion's Swimwear A.

The second swimsuit requires players to complete Ferron x Ferron, which is unlocked by starting chapter 7 and completing the ascension quest for the Machine Assassin class. It pits players against a tag team of familiar faces from that ascension quest and locks the party at level 60. Clear it with an A-rank or better to get Taion's Swimwear B.

Lanz's Swimsuits

Lanz in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Lanz's first Swimsuit requires players to clear the Vampiric Rush challenge battle, which is a three wave fight against life-draining enemies and which locks the party to level 40. Clear it with an A-rank or better to get Lanz' Swimwear A.

Lanz' second swimsuit is obtained from the Double Jeopardy challenge battle, which is only unlocked after completing the main story of the game. In this battle the party is locked to level 70, interlinking isn't allowed, and players must face off with a pair of level 75 Heroes who might look familiar. Clear this with an A-rank or better to get Lanz' Swimwear B.

Sena's Swimsuits

Sena in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Players will need to clear the Black Castle Chosen challenge battle to get Sena's first swimsuit. This is a challenge that locks the party to level 40 and tasks players with fighting various Keves enemy types. Clear it with an A-rank or better to get Sena's Swimwear A.

Sena's second swimsuit is unlocked from the Arts and Crafts challenge battle, which locks the party to level 70 and greatly increases the recharge speed of arts for both players and the enemies. It has five waves, and clearing it at rank A or better will unlock Sena's Swimwear B.
