This month, Call of Duty fans have a chance to grab a bunch of games from the series for cheap thanks to the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale. Currently underway, the Ultimate Game Sale is offering gamers deals on a variety of titles available on Xbox consoles. This event joins other seasonal offers like the Steam Summer Sale that gave the Steam Deck a major discount. Call of Duty players and Xbox owners, however, will want to pay special attention to the Ultimate Game Sale.

Call of Duty began back in 2003 and, over the course of twenty years, it has become one of the biggest series in gaming. With 19 titles currently in the main series, another expected this year, and a rumored 2024 Call of Duty title, there’s plenty for gamers to experience. Now, eager fans have a chance to get caught up on some past titles for a fraction of the price.

Right now, over a dozen games from the Call of Duty series are on sale for Xbox consoles, some of which have considerable discounts. The deals include the most recent release, Modern Warfare 2, discounted from $69.99 to $38.49. The Vault Edition can also be picked up for $69.99. Fans can even go back to the first game from the Modern Warfare side of the series for $9.99 and the first from the Black Ops side for $14.99.

In addition to all these games, some extras and game passes are also on sale. Players can get season passes for Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 2, Black Ops 3, and Black Ops 4, all for half off or more. All of these deals are available now until July 31 so interested Xbox gamers will want to jump on and check them out as soon as they can.

A sale that offers plenty of new and old games for cheap should be a welcome development for bored gamers. In addition to all the Call of Duty titles up for, some other recent big releases are also for sale at reduced prices. These titles include Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy Digital Deluxe Edition, and Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. Hogwarts Legacy and Jedi Survivor have both become trailblazers and major hits in their own right, making them worth consideration along with the Call of Duty series.

Whether they’re new to the series and looking for the latest title or old veterans looking to revisit the classics, Call of Duty fans, and gamers in general, will want to take advantage of this sale. Between these deals and the Call of Duty crossover with The Boys possibly starting a trend, it's a good time to be a fan.
