To celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants and all things Nickelodeon, Paramount Game Studios and GameMill are releasing an Xbox Series X collaboration project through Best Buy Drops. The Xbox Series X Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Special Edition Bundle includes a themed console and digital download of the Nickelodeon brawler.

The exclusive bundle will only be available to purchase through the Best Buy app via Best Buy Drops. This is not long after reports that they may stop selling physical media in stores were published. For now, no floor date has been announced to bring these consoles to Best Buy stores. Best Buy Drops, introduced in 2023, is a separate program within the Best Buy mobile application. Unlike other daily deals in gaming and other electronics, this one will be exclusively through the program. Similar to Prime Day Deals and Walmart+, this option offers mobile users first opportunities to buy exclusive products. But they will have to act fast, as these consoles are expected to be in high demand, and will be available in limited quantities.

In addition, the game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, which features a growing roster of familiar Nickelodeon characters, is pre-downloaded to the console. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a multiplayer brawler similar to Super Smash Bros. Players can play as Nickelodeon favorites such as SpongeBob, Reptar, Danny Phantom, and even Aang. Each character has unique moves and special abilities, and more are available via DLC. This console is decorated to celebrate the game and its characters with the theme of SpongeBob SquarePants. GameMill, developer of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, also contributed to the design of the exclusive console and controller.

The console will only include the base game for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. All characters included with DLC will need to be downloaded separately, and for an additional charge. With Mr. Krabs recently added to the game, new players can get in on all the NickToons platform fighting action.
