There most likely isn't an Xbox fan in the country that wouldn't love to get their hands on the Xbox Series X. At the very least, most would be thrilled to able to see the big beautiful new console in person, before the Xbox Series X launches in November. For some lucky fans, this awesome opportunity became true.

The Xbox Series X was displayed at the Xperion e-arena in Saturn (Cologne, Germany). The display showcased the Xbox console in it's horizontal and rectangle-shaped glory. Behind the protective glass, the next generation of video games was there to behold by fans who were lucky enough to attend the event.

With the lack of gaming events like E3 due to coronavirus, fans have had basically no opportunity to get a taste of the next-gen. In fact, 2020 has been an odd year for a new video game console to be released in many ways. It seems impossible that the PS5 and Xbox Series X are two to three months away and fans still don't know the price or release date, let alone having no opportunity to see it or play it at events. This Germany Xperion e-arena showcase feels like a breath of fresh air and a return to normalcy.

Much of the hardware specs of the Xbox Series X have been revealed, but there are still perhaps some mysteries of the console itself. For any hardcore fan of the Xbox Series X, it would be exciting to simply see the box in person and start to visualize where it would fit within their entertainment setup at home.

This Germany exhibit is one of the only recent times in which Xbox information has been released purposely from Microsoft, as countless leaks and rumors have spilled forth. Among other things, the price of the Xbox Series X may have been leaked by Monster Energy, of all companies.

With the Xbox Series X being launched in November, fans are expecting the not-so-secret Xbox Series S to be revealed officially soon. The more information in the hands of the consumer, the better. It would be appreciated by all gaming fans if Xbox would show off the two Xbox Series skews, reveal the price, and allow people to have an educated decision on what they are doing next. In the meantime, however, it seems the waiting game is what has to be played. But for a lucky few in Germany, the small taste of the new console probably only exemplifies the appetite.

The Xbox Series X will launch this November.
