On the heels of E3 2021's first day, noted industry insider Jeff Grubb has tweeted out some new information about the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase taking place tomorrow. Specifically, he shared some details on the games that fans should not expect to see on the second day of E3.

The list of de-confirmed titles suggests major draws such as Perfect Dark, Fable, IOI's Project Dragon, Hellblade 2, and Avowed will not be appearing at E3 this year, though Grubb does state there might be a making-of video for Hellblade 2 later on. Also on the list are Everwild and Compulsion's upcoming new game, so fans who had their hearts set on updates from those developers may be disappointed.

While all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, Grubb has a strong track record via his work at VentureBeat, so people may take his words into consideration when settling down to watch the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase Sunday. The good news is that while he did warn about many beloved titles not making an appearance, there are still plenty of games out that could steal the show. HaloForza Horizon, and Starfield, which is reportedly getting a release date at E3 2021, are expected to be shown off on the stream. Grubb noted in his replies that he expects a number of other titles to accompany them.

One thing he did confirm is the possibility of another Bethesda game besides Starfield appearing at this year's E3. While Grubb did not say which game it might be, some should be reassured to hear that at least one title has been confirmed to be coming. It's also possible that Microsoft could be announcing a new studio acquisition at E3 2021, in which case Xbox fans may have some unexpected new games to look forward to.

E3 is far from the only big gaming event happening this June, even if it is one of the largest in the industry, so it's possible that titles on Grubb's list could make an appearance at one of the other events. As of writing, he has remained close-lipped about this possibility. Despite the requests of many Twitter users, Grubb has also not provided fans with a full list of the games they can expect to see at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see what Microsoft and Bethesda have in store for E3 2021.
