Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are calling attention to a deal that unlocks a big pack of Skate 3 DLC for free. Subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is all about the additional perks that come with the more expensive tier of the service. Sometimes it's not always obvious what's available on the platform, though. For Skate 3 fans, this is a great opportunity to unlock some exciting DLC. Or it might persuade some new players to check out Skate 3.

Skate 3 was released in 2010, over 12 years ago. Yet despite its age, it's still remembered fondly by fans of the skateboarding game genre. Unfortunately, Skate 3 is not included with the base-level subscription of Xbox Game Pass. While most games on Xbox Game Pass are exclusive to tiers, access to EA Play is only for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. PC subscribers will have to download the EA Desktop app to access Skate 3.

The Unlock Bundle for Skate 3 should be unlocked for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The DLC includes three major pieces of content for Skate 3, each unique and exciting in a different way. The first is Danny's Hawaiian Dream DLC, which is a massive new level to skate through. The second DLC is named the San Van Party Pack, and it features a new and familiar park ready for some Skate 3 Spot Battles, 1-Up, or other game modes.

The third DLC is where the Unlock Bundle gets its name. It's the Time is Money Pack and what it does is unlock a significant amount of Skate 3 content without forcing players to play through the game's career or online modes. All locations, skaters, gear, and Skate.Park objects will be available as soon as the DLC is unlocked, allowing players to jump straight into the content they want.

Some Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers may recall a similarly named DLC pack being offered back in August 2022. That DLC was named the Skate 3 Upgrade Bundle and included a different set of DLC, namely the Upgrade Pack, Maloof Money Cup 2010 NYC Pack, and the Black Box Distribution Skate Park. It's unclear when that free DLC expired, but the new Unlock Bundle seems to be in the same vein.

It's unclear how long the new Unlock Bundle for Skate 3 will last, but judging by the Upgrade Bundle from last year expiring players may want to grab the offer soon. It likely won't last forever. Plus, who knows when the mood will strike and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will want to play a bit of Skate 3 again. It'll be good for nostalgia before Skate 4's release date gets announced.

Skate 3 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
