Microsoft has updated the selection of games available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers by adding Madden NFL 23 and SD Gundam Battle Alliance to the lineup. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the most expensive version of Game Pass available, but to anyone that games regularly on Xbox, it should be well worth the price of admission.
An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription makes it unnecessary for Xbox gamers to also have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate combines all the benefits of vanilla Game Pass, but adds PC Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold benefits to the mix as well. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are treated to exclusive offers and other bonuses on a regular basis, plus it grants access to the EA Play library of games.
One of the main selling points for some Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers is likely the EA Play access, as it not only allows subscribers to play classic EA sports games, but it also lets them play the newer entries within five or six months of their release. So is the case with Madden NFL 23, which is now available to PC and console players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription handy. In the meantime, SD Gundam Battle Alliance is available to all Game Pass subscribers across the cloud, consoles, and PC.

Madden NFL 23 and SD Gundam Battle Alliance won't be the last new Game Pass additions for February 2023. The new Xbox Game Pass games for February 2023 also include Mount & Blade: Bannerlord, coming February 14, as well as Cities: Skylines - Remastered, which is hitting the cloud and Xbox Series X on February 15. Next week's new Xbox Game Pass games will then cap off with Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition on February 16.
The last new Xbox Game Pass game for February 2023, barring any surprise announcements, will likely be day one release Atomic Heart, which is scheduled to join the lineup on February 21. February 2023 is a little lighter on new Game Pass games when compared to other moments, but there should still be plenty for subscribers to check out.
