Ara: History Untold is hitting PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on September 24 as a day one release. Developed by Oxide Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, Ara: History Untold is a turn-based grand strategy game with serious Civilization vibes. September 24 marks its PC debut, though console gamers can look forward to playing Ara: History Untold at some point later on.

As it turns out, Ara: History Untold isn't the only game confirmed for Game Pass in September 2024. In the same deep dive video that revealed Ara: History Untold's release date, Age of Mythology: Retold was also featured. Age of Mythology: Retold is a real-time strategy game that is scheduled to launch on September 4. Unlike Ara, Game Pass subscribers won't have to wait for the console version of Age of Mythology: Retold, as it's launching day and date with the PC release.
Also confirmed for Game Pass in September 2024 is Star Trucker, set to launch on September 3, as well as STALKER 2 on September 5. STALKER 2 could be one of the biggest games of the year, and it is most certainly one of the most significant new Game Pass games of all of 2024. There will likely be even more new games added to Game Pass in September, so it will be interesting to see what else is confirmed between now and then.
