Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have two free games they can claim right now in the form of Out of Space: Couch Edition and Lamentum. Some Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers may not even realize this, but the service offers more than just access to Game Pass and PC Game Pass games. In fact, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also bundles in Xbox Live Gold, meaning subscribers get full access to everything that brings to the table as well.
Xbox Live Gold is not nearly as popular as it once was, but that's largely thanks to Microsoft shifting its attention to Xbox Game Pass. Regardless, there are still a lot of good reasons to be signed up for Xbox Live Gold, whether that's by signing up for the service directly or signing up for Game Pass Ultimate. Xbox Live Gold is required to play the vast majority of Xbox games online, and not only that, but it gives subscribers free games to claim every month.

While neither Lamentum nor Out of Space: Couch Edition are particularly high profile games, both of them have been received well by fans and critics. Out of Space has been compared to the popular couch co-op game Overcooked and so it should be a fun distraction for those looking for a frantic new couch co-op game to play. Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, meanwhile, earned more mixed reviews from critics. It's a puzzle game take on the popular Peaky Blinders show, but it seems many critics felt that it didn't quite execute its ideas all that well, if the reviews are any indication.
Regardless, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers looking to get the most of their subscription should make sure that they are claiming the free games every month. Right now, those free games are Lamentum and Out of Space: Couch Edition, but they will eventually be replaced by a fresh batch of free game offerings.
