Microsoft has confirmed that five new games will be added to Xbox Game Pass later this month. These games join the six other new Xbox Game Pass titles added in September 2019, such as the hotly anticipated Gears 5 and Metal Gear Solid HD Edition: 2 & 3.

In a post on the Xbox Wire site, the Xbox Game Pass team said that Bandai Namco fighting game Jump Force would be added to the service on September 19. Jump Force has added several new characters since launch, such as Dragon Ball Z villain Majin Buu, though these cost money. It's unclear whether all of this DLC will be free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers or if they'll have to spend a bit more on top of their subscription fee to get them.

Another game being added on September 19 is side-scrolling Metroidvania Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Bloodstained is a spiritual successor to Konami's Castlevania series and while it doesn't always get it right, when it's on Xbox Game Pass fans will be able to see what it does wrong and right without paying more to play it.

Several more new games will be added to Xbox Game Pass a week later, on September 26. These are Bad North, the brutal roguelite from developer Plausible Concept, rally racer DiRT Rally 2.0, and open world LEGO crafting game, LEGO Worlds. Bad North is designed to be replayable, DiRT Rally 2.0 challenges players to keep racing to get the best time, and LEGO Worlds has that Minecraft timesink vibe about it. On Xbox Game Pass on Twitter asked Microsoft to show "some mercy" because they have "no time for this all."

Microsoft has also added to the list of Xbox Game Pass Quests, which are special quests that earn them Microsoft Rewards which can be exchanged for Xbox Gift Cards and subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The new quests are earn an achievement in Devil May Cry 5, which was part of the Xbox Game Pass lineup in August, and to earn an achievement in pirate adventure game Sea of Thieves which has been on Xbox Game Pass since it launched in 2018.

There's also a quest that rewards Xbox Game Pass subscribers with one Microsoft Reward point for each Gamerscore point they get, up to 10,000 points, between September 19 and September 26. Microsoft also gives out rewards for using its Bing search engine, but playing a huge amount of Xbox games seems like a far easier way to do it.
