Toward the end of last year, many Xbox Game Pass subscribers were left wondering just what 2024 would bring for the long-running subscription service. Xbox had very little officially planned for Game Pass heading into the new year, with only a handful of day-one releases confirmed for 2024's opening months. Thankfully, now a few months into 2024, it seems safe to say that Xbox Game Pass has managed to keep fans happy, delivering some high-profile third-party games, some surprisingly great indie day-one releases, and plenty of titles in between.

While Xbox Game Pass has managed to pull off another great few months, the rest of 2024 was still looking a little unclear for the service, but the recent Xbox Partner Showcase has gone a decent way at remedying that. The recent Xbox Partner Showcase delivered a wealth of intriguing announcements, along with the confirmation that seven titles will be coming to Xbox/PC Game Pass in the near future.

Every Xbox Game Pass Announcement From the March Xbox Partner Showcase

Sleight of Hand

A third-person stealth game with a unique deck-building twist, Sleight of Hand showed a very promising debut trailer during the recent Xbox Partner Showcase. Playing as a character named Lady Luck, Sleight of Hand will have players sneaking their way through various noir-themed settings, using their custom deck of cards to unleash some stylish stealthy abilities, such as an ability that sees them teleport directly behind an enemy or let them disappear in a puff of smoke. Sleight of Hand is set to release on Xbox Game Pass in 2025.

The Alters

An exciting upcoming game from 11 Bit Studios, The Alters is a unique hybrid of a Sci-Fi third-person survival adventure game with base-building and management mechanics. In The Alters, players take control of astronaut Jan Dolski, who's attempting to escape the planet he's currently trapped on by creating alternate versions of himself. The Alters is currently set to launch on Xbox Game Pass at some point this year.

Creatures of Ava

Another potential Pokemon-like hit on Xbox Game Pass, Creatures of Ava looks like a much calmer, more family-friendly version of Palworld. Putting its serene tone at the forefront, Creatures of Ava will have players gently guide creatures back to their home using musical instruments, and task them with curing the planet of a disease that's making the titular creatures more aggressive. Creatures of Ava will launch on Xbox Game Pass in 2024.

Final Fantasy 14

The long-running MMO Final Fantasy 14 is finally set to launch on Xbox on March 21, 2024, and during the recent Xbox Partner Showcase, it was announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers would be able to claim the game's Starter Edition for no extra charge, up until April 19. This Final Fantasy 14 Starter Edition will include the Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood expansions.

Frostpunk 2

The second 11 Bit Studios game on this list, Frostpunk 2 finally received a release date during the Xbox Partner Showcase, along with the confirmation that it'll be coming to PC Game Pass on day one. Continuing its predecessor's dystopian city-builder narrative, Frostpunk 2 looks like it's shaping up to be a great sequel, and fans will be able to get their hands on the game on July 25.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

A new IP from Capcom, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a single-player action-adventure/strategy hybrid game heavily inspired by Japanese folklore. Thanks to the Xbox Partner Showcase and the recent Capcom Highlights event, fans have now seen a decent amount of gameplay from Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and it's certainly one to keep an eye on when it launches later this year for Xbox Game Pass.

Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass

Though technically not a full game, Persona 3 Reload announced an expansion pass that's set to bring three waves of DLC content over the next year, ranging from music tracks from Persona 4/5 and new costumes to the epilogue DLC chapter Aigis The Answer. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to redeem this expansion pass for no extra charge.
