Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service has had a banner year, with numerous day one games and major additions added to the lineup. Microsoft has aggressively supported Xbox Game Pass throughout all of 2021, and it looks like that support is going to stay strong as we near the end of the year.

The way Microsoft reveals new Xbox Game Pass games is that the lineup is announced bi-monthly. So at the beginning of the month, Microsoft reveals the Xbox Game Pass games coming for the next couple of weeks, and then the process is repeated at the middle of the month. Because of this, Xbox Game Pass subscribers don't even know all of the games coming for November and December 2021, but even so, the lineup that has been confirmed is incredibly impressive.

  • Evil Genius 2: World Domination - November 30

Xbox Game Pass subscribers don't even know the full scope of games that are coming to the service for November 2021, but what's been announced already makes it one of the year's strongest months. Xbox Game Pass has already added Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Edition for PC users, popular indie game Unpacking, and more, with some of the biggest Xbox Game Pass games of the year coming in mere days from the time of this writing.

November 9 is going to be a big day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as it will see Football Manager 2022 and Forza Horizon 5 join the service. Football Manager 2022 is a soccer management sim that has earned rave reviews from critics, whereas Forza Horizon 5 is the highest-rated game of 2021 so far. Forza Horizon 5 is the latest entry in the popular open world racing game series from Xbox and Playground Games, and it looks like it will easily be one of the top Xbox Game Pass day one game releases of the entire year.

The new games coming on November 9 would make this week one to remember for Xbox Game Pass by themselves, but there's even more for subscribers to look forward to later on. November 11 will see the addition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition, the remastered version of the classic open world game and part of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, as well as the indie game One Step from Eden.

And while Microsoft isn't considering it as an official new Xbox Game Pass addition, subscribers can also look forward to the next-generation version of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Special Edition on November 11. This version of the game will come with some enhancements that are being added through the Anniversary Edition, such as the new fishing questline. Unfortunately, anyone that wants all of the new Creation Club content coming with Skyrim Anniversary Edition will have to shell out an extra $20 to upgrade.

Microsoft has not revealed all of the new Xbox Game Pass games coming in the second half of the month just yet, but there are a couple that have been announced ahead of time. Indie game UnDungeon is coming on November 18, while the console version of Evil Genius 2: World Domination is releasing on November 30. Needless to say, there's a ton of new content for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to look forward to in November, but it doesn't look like things are slowing down for December either.

Xbox Game Pass Games December 2021

  • Halo Infinite (Cloud/Console/PC) - December 8
  • Among Us (Cloud/Console/PC) - December 14
  • The Gunk (Cloud/Console/PC) - TBA

Microsoft likely won't reveal all of the Xbox Game Pass games coming in December 2021 until the month actually starts, but previous announcements have confirmed at least three titles that subscribers have to look forward to. This includes the Xbox debut of one of the most popular indie games of all time, as well as some day one releases.

Headlining the Xbox Game Pass games for December 2021 is Halo Infinite, Xbox's flagship title. Halo Infinite was originally supposed to launch last year alongside the next-gen Xbox Series X console, but plans were pushed back and the game is just now finally coming on December 8. When Halo Infinite launches through Xbox Game Pass on December 8, fans can look forward to playing through its campaign as well as its multiplayer, though some features, like co-op and Forge, will have to wait until sometime after launch.

Then on December 14, fans can look forward to the addition of Among Us. The popular online multiplayer social deduction game, Among Us has become a phenomenon in its own right, and while it may not be quite as popular as it once was, its debut on Game Pass should give it a serious shot in the arm. The Among Us Xbox Game Pass debut coincides with the game's PlayStation launch as well, so there should be a huge influx of new players come December 14.

And while it doesn't have a firm release date just yet, The Gunk is currently scheduled to launch at an undetermined point in December. The Gunk is a unique sci-fi action-adventure game that will serve as yet another one of day one Xbox Game Pass games for December 2021.
