Thanks to previous release date announcements, the Xbox Game Pass subscription service already has six games for subscribers to look forward to in the month of November. Microsoft will pull the curtain back on all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022 next month, but fans can get a preview of what's to come ahead of time.

With Humankind's console release indefinitely delayed, there are now six games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in November 2022. The month will get started with the addition of The Legend of Tianding, a side-scrolling action game set in Taiwan that is notable for having "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam. While fans have yet to play the console version, if it's anything like the PC release, it should make for a great new addition to the Game Pass lineup.

Another side-scrolling game is joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup a couple of days later, with day one release Ghost Song scheduled to join on November 3. Ghost Song is a Metroidvania-style game that features sci-fi and cosmic horror elements. It's coming out just a few days after Halloween ends, so those that are still in the spooky season mood may want to give it a shot when it joins Game Pass.

  • The Legend of Tianding - November 1
  • Ghost Song - November 3
  • Football Manager 2023 - November 8
  • Pentiment - November 15
  • Gungrave GORE - November 22
  • Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - November 30

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to another day one game on November 8 when Football Manager 2023 joins the lineup. Football Manager 2023 is the latest installment in the long-running soccer management sim franchise. The games have all been mostly well-received by critics, and there's little reason to doubt that the same won't be true for the latest installment when it launches next month.

The following week, yet another day one game is coming to Xbox Game Pass, and this one is a console exclusive from Microsoft's own Obsidian Entertainment. Obsidian has already had a great year thanks to the 1.0 release of Grounded, and fans of the studio's work will be able to check out its next project on November 15 in the form of Pentiment. Pentiment is an RPG with a decades-spanning story that tasks players with investigating a mysterious murder. The game's unique art style is inspired by medieval paintings and the like, which should make sure it stands out from the other games joining Game Pass in November 2022.

The day one Xbox Game Pass games just keep coming in November, as the week after Pentiment launches sees the release of Gungrave GORE. Gungrave GORE is the third game in the Gungrave video game series, which are cult classic third-person shooter games from the PlayStation 2 era. Gungrave GORE marks the first new Gungrave game in 18 years, so fans of the franchise should definitely be excited. The jury is still out on whether the new game lives up to its predecessors or not, but Xbox Game Pass subscribers can find out without paying anything beyond their usual subscription fee.

And finally, November 30 will see first-person game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide join Game Pass, though this comes with a caveat that subscribers should keep in mind. The Xbox Series X version of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has been delayed indefinitely, with no new release date announced at the time of this writing. But while the game won't be available to Game Pass users on console, it will be playable to those with PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers that have a PC handy. This may not be super convenient for those that like to game on their new Series X consoles, but at least they're still getting access to it.

Of course, these six games are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022. Microsoft will reveal the rest of the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022 in two waves, with the first wave announced at the start of the month and the second wave announced around the beginning of the month.

There should be plenty of new games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to look forward to in November 2022, but it should be pointed that there will be some games removed from the service next month as well. Games leaving Xbox Game Pass tend to be removed on the 15th of the month and the last day of the month, so fans can expect November 15 and November 30 to see their fair share of departures. Just like fans have to wait for next month to learn about all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, though, they'll also have to wait to learn about all the games leaving Game Pass as well.
