Microsoft has yet again updated its selection of Xbox Game Pass games, giving subscribers across the cloud, Xbox consoles, and PC something new to play. The new games added today are two of the last games that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass lineup for the first half of December, with one more title scheduled for December 15. At that point, it's likely that Microsoft will pull the curtain back on the Game Pass games coming in the second half of December, but fans will have to stay tuned for more information on that front.

On December 15, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be treated to Rainbow Billy: Curse of the Leviathan, which will be playable across PC, the cloud, and consoles. But before Rainbow Billy joins the Xbox Game Pass lineup, subscribers have two fresh games to try out, both of which are brand-new, day one releases.

Starting today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play High on Life through the cloud, Xbox consoles, and PC, as well as Potion Craft, which is available on consoles and PC but does not currently have a cloud version available. High on Life is the latest effort from Squanch Games, the game development studio founded by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland. High on Life has a lot in common with Roiland's other work, giving players the chance to explore bizarre sci-fi worlds filled to the brink with foul-mouthed characters and meta humor.

High on Life reviews have been mixed, but that makes it the perfect game for Game Pass, really. Anyone on the fence is able to try it out at a relatively low cost through their Game Pass subscription and can decide for themselves if they like it or not. It seems those that enjoy Roiland's style of comedy have come away impressed by High on Life, whereas those who find his humor grating are not having as fun of a time with it.

Potion Craft, meanwhile, is a game that's been available in early access since last year but is just now making its full release. Potion Craft is a so-called "alchemist simulator" where players craft potions. Potion Craft's early access release has been relatively well-received by those on PC, so now console gamers can try it and see if it lives up to their expectations.

While December has seen plenty of new games added to the Xbox Game Pass lineup, it's worth pointing out that the service will be losing some titles soon as well. Xbox Game Pass is removing 11 games from the lineup on December 15, so subscribers should keep that in mind.
