Xbox Game Pass gives Xbox gamers plenty of reason to sign up, but one of the main selling points is its selection of day one games. Xbox Game Pass adds brand-new, day one releases to the library on a regular basis, with multiple day one releases added every month. It's always exciting for Game Pass subscribers whenever a new game is noted to be coming to Game Pass on day one, and a recent sizzle reel has put the spotlight on seven such day one releases.

Humble Bundle has released a new sizzle reel through IGN that highlights seven of its games that are either already available on Xbox Game Pass or will be coming to the service on day one. This includes the recently-released Midnight Fight Express, an action game that is available for Game Pass subscribers to try right now. The other games highlighted in the sizzle reel are Moonscars (launching September 27), Signalis (launching October 27), Coral Island, Ghost Song, Infinite Guitars, and Prodeus. Prodeus, it should be mentioned is already available on PC Game Pass, but will be making its console debut as a day one Xbox Game Pass games.

For those unfamiliar with the games, Moonscars is a side-scrolling Soulslike with a grim art style, whereas Signalis is a sci-fi horror game with a unique art style of its own. Whereas Moonscars will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to try on September 27, Signalis will be launching on October 27, just in time for Halloween.

New Xbox Game Pass Day One Games

  • Midnight Fight Express - Available now
  • Moonscars - September 27
  • Signalis - October 27
  • Coral Island - TBA
  • Ghost Song - TBA
  • Infinite Guitars - TBA
  • Prodeus - TBA

Coral Island, meanwhile, is quite different from the other games in the lineup. Whereas Midnight Fight Express, Moonscars, and Signalis all have intense action, Coral Island is a life simulation game that has a lot more in common with titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. It currently lacks a release date, as does Ghost Song, a side-scrolling action game that's also coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.

Infinite Guitars is one of the more experimental games in the lineup, blending classic RPG tropes with music/rhythm-based gameplay. It seems like an interesting combination, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to see if it pays off on day one.

And finally, the console version of Prodeus is also on the way for Xbox Game Pass. Prodeus is a throwback, retro-style FPS game that originally released for the PC in 2020 to mostly positive reviews, so between it and the other games on the lineup, Game Pass subscribers have plenty to look forward to in the months ahead.
