Xbox Game Pass has added PAW Patrol World to its content library. The open-world action adventure is the second March 2024 addition to Microsoft's subscription service, as well as the fourth-ever PAW Patrol game to join Xbox Game Pass.

The hit Canadian animated series starring a crew of adorable rescue dogs has so far spawned a handful of games for PC and consoles. All were distributed by Outright Games, a London-based publisher specializing in family-friendly interactive entertainment. Most of those PAW Patrol tie-in titles have made their way to Xbox Game Pass over the years.

Xbox Game Pass confirms yet another day-one title for 2024, which is coming from a Polish developer with several award-winning games to its name.

That trend is now continuing with PAW Patrol World, the newest game based on the popular IP that was just added to Microsoft's subscription service as of the early morning hours ET on March 7, some five months following its 2023 release. Much like Outright's other recent titles, PAW Patrol World adds to the list of Xbox Game Pass games with a local co-op mode. Although split-screen multiplayer has become a rarity nowadays, it is still a fairly common feature in games catering to the youngest audiences.

PAW Patrol World is not the first Outright-distributed title to have made its way to Microsoft's content catalog in recent weeks; the publisher also brought Bluey: The Videogame to Xbox Game Pass in late February. Looking at the company's track record of XGP releases, it is plausible that PAW Patrol World will enjoy a lengthy stint on the service. This has also been the case with its three predecessors, two of which are still available on Xbox Game Pass as of March 2024, years after originally reaching its content catalog.

PAW Patrol World won't be the last family-friendly game to become available to Microsoft's subscribers in late winter. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, a remake of Heavy Iron Studios' cult-classic 2003 platformer, will also grace the service on March 12. Beyond that, half a dozen more titles have been confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass before month's end. Half of those are day-one releases, while the rest of the lineup is headlined by Diablo 4, the first Activision Blizzard title to reach Xbox Game Pass since Microsoft acquired the California-based gaming giant in late 2023.

As for the release at hand, PAW Patrol World continues the trend of titles being added to Xbox Game Pass without DLC. That notwithstanding, this free-roaming action adventure doesn't offer any extra content beyond a handful of $4.99 costume packs, some of which are even available to Xbox Game Pass members at a 10% discount as of March 7.
