Xbox Game Pass has added No More Heroes 3 to its ever-expanding content library. This is the sixth title to reach Microsoft's subscription service in March 2024 and the 33rd overall addition to Xbox Game Pass since the turn of the year.

No More Heroes is a series of wacky hack-and-slash action adventures starring Travis Touchdown, a stereotypical otaku who gets involved in an international assassin organization after acquiring a futuristic katana. Developed by Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture, the franchise started in 2007 with a highly regarded Wii exclusive of the same name that spawned five more titles, including three spin-offs. Following a decade-long hiatus, the mainline series returned in 2021 with the critically acclaimed No More Heroes 3, whose Xbox version has a 77 Metascore on Metacritic, whereas its PC port boasts hundreds of "Very Positive" reviews.

New Capcom Game Coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2024

Capcom narrows down the release window of one of its upcoming titles that was already confirmed for a day-one Xbox Game Pass launch.

Regularly priced at $39.99, No More Heroes 3 is now available to Xbox Game Pass users at no extra cost as part of their monthly subscription. As is commonly the case with new additions to Microsoft's content library, Xbox Game Pass members only get to play the base edition of Grasshopper's humorous action game. But this version is already content-complete, as the $49.99 Digital Deluxe Edition merely comes with some extra miscellaneous goodies in the form of an artbook and soundtrack combo.

No More Heroes 3 is the fourth addition to Microsoft's subscription library in just as many days, having reached Xbox Game Pass immediately after Control: Ultimate Edition. The XGP catalog has also expanded to include NBA 2K24 and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, in that order, since the start of the week.

At least four more titles are scheduled to reach the service before this month comes to a close, with that group comprising an early access version of Lightyear Frontier, as well as MLB The Show 24, Diablo 4, and Open Roads. Aside from Diablo 4, all of those remaining March 2024 additions to Xbox Game Pass are day-one releases. But Blizzard's action RPG is still the most high-profile arrival of the bunch, both due to its established popularity and the fact that it's the company's first XGP release since its blockbuster sale to Microsoft went through in October 2023.

Since the second half of March is currently looking a little backloaded in terms of new Xbox Game Pass arrivals, it is plausible that Microsoft will be adding even more titles to its subscription catalog than it has announced so far. Beyond that, no fewer than three day-one Xbox Game Pass games have already been confirmed for April in the form of Botany Manor, Manor Lords, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
