With the spread of the Coronavirus seeing more and more people self-isolating in their homes, it seems now is a better time than ever for players to settle down and get through their backlog. There's no better way for players to make a dent in their ever-amassing pile of un-played titles than through Xbox Game Pass, with the service's lineup of the console's biggest titles for one affordable fixed monthly price. If Xbox owners needed any more encouragement to buy into the service, it seems a spate of new titles is coming to the service soon as well.

Coming from Xbox Game Pass' Twitter account, it appears the company is gearing up to deliver five brand new games to Xbox One users by the end of March 2020, with PC players also getting four new titles as well. Both Xbox One and PC players will get Bleeding Edge, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid and The Surge 2, with Xbox One users also receiving both Kona and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and PC users getting Astrologaster.

Although there's a lot of quality games in that bundle, the two that stand out are Bleeding Edge and The Surge 2. Bleeding Edge is, of course, one of Microsoft's biggest upcoming exclusives, with the multiplayer 4v4 team brawler being developed by Ninja Theory, the team behind Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. There's a lot of intrigue and excitement behind the new release, and it will no doubt make for a great game to add to the service. On the other hand, The Surge 2 was one of last year's biggest games, with the Souls-like managing to pull in some decent reviews from fans of the genre. It will no doubt take a lot of time to master, so fans will get a lot of playtime out of this excellent RPG.

Outside of these main two titles, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fighting game based on the popular franchise that released to mixed reviews, Kona is an adventure game centered around a PI in the 70s that score generally favorable reactions, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is the seventh entry in the popular flight-based action that was also fairly well-regarded by many. On the PC side, Astrologaster is a comedy adventure title that scored mixed to positive reviews from most outlets.

Alongside these titles, Game Pass is filled with a number of utterly exceptional experiences that will keep any avid gamer satisfied as they wait out this gradually spreading pandemic. From massive blockbusters like Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, and Devil May Cry 5, to smaller games like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, My Friend Pedro, and Oxenfree, there's something for everyone currently on Xbox's incredibly popular service.
