Most players are aware of the many benefits that come with being an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. In addition to a large library of games like The Witcher 3 and Doom Eternal, players have access to a variety of other features like streaming games directly to their Android device, thanks to Project xCloud. Now, it seems that Xbox is yet again wanting to push the envelope of what Game Pass can do for its members as it teases a collaboration of galactic proportions.

The Xbox Game Pass Twitter account put out a new tweet today teasing something related to the Disney Plus series, The Mandalorian, might be coming to the service. The tweet features a picture of both The Mandalorian and The Child with the snarky caption, "All we're gonna say is that we're not posting The Mandalorian and The Child for no reason."

While the replies to the tweet have varied, with some believing this could be a tease at new Star Wars Battlefront 2 content, others have come to a more likely consensus. Players believe that this could mean that subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service will receive a subscription to Disney Plus as well at some point in the future.

This wouldn't be the first time that Game Pass subscribers have received memberships to movie and TV show services. Recently, it was announced that players with an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription would gain access to a two-month subscription for Funimation Premium Plus, giving players full access to the anime platform's wide library of shows and movies.

The perks that are provided through an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription continue to stack up. In addition to Funimation, players have been treated to several service trials like Discord Nitro and Spotify Premium. The service has also provided additional in-game content for various Xbox-exclusive titles like Gears 5 and Sea of Thieves, as well as third-party titles like Overcooked 2.

While it has yet to be confirmed what this Mandalorian tease could be leading to, it seems that Xbox is dedicated to making sure that Xbox Game Pass is the best possible value that players can get their hands on. Considering the company's marketing has been geared towards selling players on the service rather than its new consoles, the Xbox Series X/S, players can assume that the benefits will continue to roll in for the service over the coming months.
